Lush gardens surround the shaded walking trails and offer guests the opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of Costa Rica. Our Animal sanctuary in Costa Rica is known for its world-class habitat designs that address the needs of each species. The unique design of the habitats allows guests to view and learn about key aspects of biology, ecology and natural history of the animals. Tons of activities within one park - Booked this while visiting adjacent RIU resort to kill an afternoon. Didn't realize the Diamante had tons of activities at reasonable prices. The animals seems very well taken care of! I saw a few lizards wondering around outside. Wished we had set aside more time in the vacation. If we return, Diamante will be our first stop.

Don’t miss this one - If you want to experience many of the animals and reptiles of Costa Rica we highly recommend this park. Excellent helpful staff shuttle was fantastic to get to and from parking area as the area has steep inclines. The park is very well designed for young children and older adults with mobility issues as the park’s attractions are close distance to one another. The frog and toad exhibit is an absolute must for everyone to see. They have knowledgeable staff throughout the park to assist and answers questions. We would definitely recommend DelBrocco family

Reidy was a FANTASTIC guide! - I brought a small group of 15 people to the Diamante Eco Adventure Park Wildlife Sanctuary. We paid for a private tourguide to show us all the rescued animals. Reidy was our guide, and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! He gave us a wonderful explanation of every species. He knew detailed information about each animal, as well as how the Sanctuary acquired it. Besides speaking perfect English, he could answer every question from anybody in our group while being fun and engaging. We had a memorable and special experience because of Reidy! Don’t miss your opportunity to ask for him when you visit Diamante!

A good experience at the Diamante Eco Adventure Park Animal Sanctuary - Our overall experience with the park was very good. We particularly enjoyed the variety of animals and the quality of the information provided by the staff. We were somewhat disappointed that the glass of some of the enclosures was rather dirty making it difficult at times to see or photograph the animals.

Beautiful but hot in March - A beautiful sanctuary but note that if you go in March, 1-2 hours is more than enough time at the park (due to the heat). We opted for a 9:30am to 3:30pm shuttle from Playas de Coco but wished we’d chosen the 9:30-11:30 shuttle. The only feedback I have to offer Diamante is to offer more shuttles such as a 1:30 shuttle
