Amazing history and food tour!! - From start to finish, this tour was nothing short of phenomenal. Tlane is an absolute gem. She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does. Her energy, insight, and genuine care turned a great tour into an unforgettable experience. Every moment felt thoughtfully guided and deeply enriching. We learned so much, had a lot of fun, and left with memories we will cherish for a long time. Thank you for making our experience so special, Tlane. We would recommend this tour to all. P.S don’t eat before you go!! The food tour and tasting was the best food we had in the area.

Nice walking tour - Guide was on time and shared a lot of good history. The suggested meal locations was nice, but I’d note which ones were in the historic center vs a taxi ride away.

A review from a travel advisor (leisure travel) - If your looking for a stroll around the center of the city with plenty of historic information, this is a great economic tour to take! Our guide was amazing, very patient even when we were running very late and he proceeded to wait for us. Thiago was the best! Really knows his stuff, and even made stops that we requested and really accommodates on our necessity. 5 star service even for a simple walking tour. Thank you!

Great tour for your buck!! - The whole tour was fun. Tlane our guide was great, she is a tapatia that certainly loves her city, her state and her country and it shows. She was very entertaining, enthusiastic and full information. She was great!

Surprisingly thought-provoking - Tleni had a definitively youthful perspective on history — one from middle class Mexico.
If I had written this on the day we took the tour, I might not have been as generous. 3 days later, I’ve had time to process, see some art, walk through the streets, experience some national holidays, etc. I can begin to see how my own cultural values might have caused me to have a somewhat myopic interpretation of events.
Good on Tleni for daring to offer the government line and an alternative perspective. So glad we visited the Museo Hospicio Cabañas the next day! With context came understanding!

Learn from a local - This tour was extremely helpful for an orientation on the city for our first day. Our guide had valuable restaurant recommendations and shopping advice. Her love for Guadalajara was convincing. My group liked most her explanations of the meaning behind the outdoor sculptures in front of the Cabanas Museum.
