Cocula: where Mariachi is felt, not just heard - Senpertar is a great community. Choosing this experience was the highlight of my vacation. My family and I enjoyed diverse trails. Everyone made me feel like part of the family from the very beginning. I would highly recommend the Cocula Tour, where you can learn about one of the most iconic parts of Mexican culture: mariachi and its origin. I felt connected to nature and colonial architecture.

A wonderful tour around Cocula, Mariachi's homeland - It was a very beautiful outing with many experiences different from those I’ve had on other trips. We visited typical places, the town square and the church, but we also spent time with local people at a bakery, a candy shop, and the mariachi museum. We ate the region’s traditional birria along with a cold one while a children’s mariachi group played and shared the history of mariachi with us. It was a very moving moment. For all these reasons, I highly recommend this experience.

A must-do it you're visiting Guadalajara - It was a very fun and interesting experience. We had the opportunity to learn about mariachi culture, with young entrepreneurs aged 13 to 17 as the main participants. They were very well in tune and highly enthusiastic about showcasing their skills with instruments and their voices. We visited the mariachi school, the mariachi museum, the first bakery that is still operating, temples, an artisanal candy shop, among other places. I highly recommend it.

ROOTS OF COCULA - It was like a family outing 🩷 full of emotions: we walked on the lagoon shore 🐠, meditated under a huge tree 🌳, visited the mariachi museum, also the mariachi school with its mysterious tunnels 💀 😱; we ate listening to the mariachi 🎶🎻...etc. All under the guidance of an experienced traveler. I recommend it 100%

Cocula Magic Town that came to my soul - Cocula Magic Town that came to my soul. In this journey of introspection with roots we walk in nature, and I reacquaint myself with the dynamics we carry out , in addition to living closely with artisans, centuries-old businesses and living traditions. Listening to the mariachi from its purest root, not as a show, but as an identity made me live a very emotional moment. Fully recommended!

Safe and with Family atmosphere, 100% recommended. - The walk to Cocula was an experience that filled my heart. To be able to see the history of the place up close, walk through its streets full of tradition and feel that authentic atmosphere was something really special. There were times when I just stopped to observe and thank being there, surrounded by culture, music and people who convey such warmth. I am left with the feeling of having connected with a little piece of Mexico that preserves its essence and that makes you remember how beautiful it is to discover places with heart. It was a trip that I not only enjoyed, but also left me memories that I will keep.
