Great day of fishing with Echo Adventure Coop - Highly recommend. My wife and I are seasoned fly fishers and wanted to fish Yosemite as part of our vacation. Bryant took us to Moccasin Creek and the middle fork of the Tuolumne over the course of our day long outing. We got on plenty of fish in both locations. Nate assisted that day and it was like having a local field guide that expertly knows the flower and fauna of the area (as well as great advice on where to go in the park). Bryant is an excellent guide and was attentive to each of our needs in the moment, great instructor, patient, encouraging, and just an overall pleasure to spend the day with. The office team was great too as we booked our trip and had questions along the way :-) We highly recommend Echo Adventure Coop to anyone that wants a rewarding Yosemite fly fishing experience!

Awesome fly fishing experience with Eric!! - Went fly fishing with Eric (guide) and had a BLAST!!! I've only fly fished for Salmon in Alaska so presenting flies via fly rod for Rainbow Trout was a bit different and Eric helped make it easy, fun and successful. We had a fantastic morning of fishing, great conversation, a bit of education on the art of fly fishing... and the weather was spectacular! Couldn't have asked for any better way to spend part of my vacation. Thanks, Eric!! And thanks, Echo. Well done!!

Learning How to Roll Cast - October 2024 - This is the second time we have used Echo Adventure for a full day of fly fishing in the Yosemite area. The fly fishing around Yosemite is classic stream fishing with various water flows depending upon time of year. The terrain is not always easy and getting to the rivers may require traversing up and over heavily bouldered hillsides with loose rock as well so that should be taken into consideration. If this type of terrain is a problem your guides have many options on where to fish and I suspect they can accommodate terrain suitable for both young/agile and those of us that are less agile. You may also need to be comfortable wading in shallow water with slippery rock. A wading staff is highly recommended if you are not experienced at wading streams. Our day was spent with Kevin who is probably the youngest guide we have ever experienced. His youth was not a reflection of his knowledge and/or skill sets. He is native to this area and knows the streams very well. He was incredibly passionate about fishing in general and was extremely good at providing instruction, tips, and tricks that were really appreciated as we are not accomplished at fly fishing. He is a very enthusiastic and positive teacher. Over the course of the day our technique improved, we were getting bit with occasional hookups throughout the day. Kevin did a few demonstration casts and would readily hook onto a fish providing us both with great instruction and firm evidence that fish were everywhere he indicated they would be. Lunch is provided from a local deli and was very well prepared with snacks and drinks throughout the day. All equipment and gear were also provided and were in good condition. Overall, we really enjoyed our day and were extremely happy with Kevin's guidance and instruction. We had a great time and left our day better at fly fishing than we began!

Day To Remember! - My grandson and I had the best day of fly fishing with our guide Kevin. He was on time, very patient and accommodating. We caught fish, had a great lunch, and the best compliment was from my 13 year old grandson. He told him that “he learned so much”. Thank you Kevin for making our time together so memorable.

Fly fishing the Tuolumne. - We went on a full day fly fishing trip . The entire experience, from booking to the actual trip was nothing short of first class. Our guide Bryant and all the staff at the store are awesome. All equipment provided was of high quality and in excellent condition. This was our first venture into fly fishing and we thourghly enjoyed it. I highly recommend Echo Adventure and look forward to my next adventure with them. We also added the optional lunch which was very good. I recommend checking out the store and meeting Elizabeth and the rest of the staff. They are very helpful and the store has some very nice gear. Their trip prices are as good as you will find, and you will not be disappointed with the experience.

Fly fishing in the sierras. - The whole experience was breathtaking. The guide was super informative. We were catching fish on the Tuolumne. I used some of my own gear with personally curated flies from Echo. It was a lot of fun and I learnt a whole lot. Definitely going back.

Dillion is an amazing guide - I have been fly fishing since I was ten. The vast majority of it salt water in the flats. I have experience in trout/salmon and during a trip this month I wanted a new adventure. I booked a half-day private guide with this outfit at a very reasonable rate.
Dillion picked me up at 6:15am and after a chat about what I wanted to do, we ended up targeting wild brook trout in Yosemite in a very small but beautiful creek.
It was about a 1.5 mile hike into the area. It was challenging, but once at our first spot, I was in heaven with the surroundings. The watershed was no wider than a car hood and posed a great challenge in each spot. That is what I wanted. An adventure in and a new type of fishing. Dillion was fantastic, knowledgeable, and provided feedback and helpful tips to improve this type of fly fishing.
In all, I caught eight brookies and had hits on numerous more. I would highly recommend Dillion to anyone wanting to fly fish, expert or beginner. He is a great one.

I have learned alot thanks to the excellent coaching from guides Bryant and Dillon. The entire team is very friendly and knowledgeable. A top notch and very memorable experience every time I have dealt with them and highly recommend them for all of your fishing, hiking as well as all of the other excursions that they have to offer.
