Over millions of years, the Melendiz River eroded the valley, causing layers to crack and fall, eventually forming an 80-meter deep canyon. The entire valley stretches 14 km, with a 3.5 km hike planned. The walk will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, followed by lunch at a restaurant.
