The itinerary for the Green Tour typically features a journey through an underground city, a trek in the Ihlara Valley, and a visit to Selime Monastery, plus various options for photo snapping at different scenic lookouts. As previously stated, the tour embarks from your hotel at 09:30, guided by our professional guide, starting with a visit to the Goreme panorama and Uchisar pigeon valley. Following the pigeon valley, we explore the Derinkuyu underground city, a seven-level structure dug by the Hittite Civilization in 1500 B.C. We then proceed to the Nar Crater lake for a splendid view, before journeying to the Ihlara canyon and 800 A.D orthodox churches. We savour a delectable lunch by the river and take a stroll around the Selime cathedral before returning to Goreme at 17:00.
