Uchisar - Visit one of the cave houses still in use as a café and enjoy a cup of apple tea. Experience the spacious and charming interior with a stable temperature of around 12°C. These cave houses stay cool in summer and warm in winter without the need for air conditioning.
Pigeon Valley - Observe the valley filled with dovecotes, and if we’re fortunate, we might spot some pigeons.
Göreme - The Goreme Open Air Museum features numerous rock-cut churches and monasteries, once home to around 300 monks and nuns. It served as a school for studying Christianity, with residents living in troglodyte dwellings. We’ll explore the rock-cut churches and monasteries adorned with beautiful frescoes from the 9th to 12th centuries AD.
Pasabag - Known as the fairy-chimneys valley, this area is famous for its mushroom-shaped rock formations, named fairy chimneys by the locals.
Avanos - This pottery town has been a center of craftsmanship since 1600 BC, during the Hittite era. The pottery kick wheel was invented here, and in recent centuries, Avanos has become known for tile production.
Devrent Valley - A photo stop to see the stone camel formation.
Urgup - Known as the family fairy-chimneys, this group of five rock formations represents a grandfather, grandmother, parents, and child.
Ihlara Valley and Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground city
Kaymakli Underground City - Spend about an hour exploring the rooms and shelters of this underground city.
Ihlara Valley - This 14 km long, 150-meter deep canyon features around 4,000 man-made caves and 100 rock-cut churches and chapels. We’ll walk 3 km and visit some of Ihlara’s churches, such as Agacalti Church, Sumbullu Church, and Snake Church.
Selime Monastery - The largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia, carved into a cliff. The scenery here is so unique that it was used as a backdrop for parts of the Star Wars movie.
After the tour, transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport.
