The Westin Poinsett serves as a nostalgic glimpse into the 1920s, featuring classic carpets, grand columns, and exquisite motifs throughout the hotel. The building boasts a fascinating history with natural passings, lingering spirits attached to the beloved structure, and the ghosts of bootleggers in the basement.
• Falls Park on the Reedy - Falls Park ranks among the top parks nationwide. The nearby Reedy River and the waterfall conceal eerie secrets. Given its rich history, it’s no surprise that the area is rumored to be haunted. Some waterfront hotels and older mill buildings in the vicinity also have haunted histories. This area is truly rich in haunted lore.
• Springwood Cemetery - Ghost enthusiasts will find the eerie sights of Springwood captivating. From apparitions of Confederate soldiers to ghostly orbs and sounds, it’s all present here. The cemetery is steeped in Greenville’s history, with its origins dating back to 1812. There are numerous legends to explore throughout the area.

Please note that the cemetery is closed on Halloween Night, as the city of Greenville secures it with guards. Visitors should plan to book earlier in the day if they wish to visit on that night.

• 201 W Washington St - The Greenville Summit is considered the most haunted building in Greenville. Originally the Imperial Hotel in 1912, it transitioned into a retirement complex in the 1980s. The numerous natural deaths have contributed to its reputation as a highly haunted location. Travel nurses have described it as the scariest building they’ve worked in. The tour will reveal more about the hauntings, but it doesn’t venture far into the building, as it remains an active senior living complex.
• Rocket Fizz Greenville - Rocket Fizz is a delightful store included in the “And More” section of the tour. It offers over 200 varieties of candies and sodas. Beyond its sweet offerings, it has a haunted history and is surrounded by buildings with ghostly occurrences. In the early 1900s, the road behind it was home to the area’s main tombstone manufacturer. This charming store is enveloped by the paranormal.

This is the only ghost tour in the area that shares the true stories behind every haunting. All accounts are researched from books, news media, and first-hand experience, so visitors learn exactly what the ghost does and how they passed.

For a genuinely eerie experience, guests are encouraged to book a night tour. There are two main locations that are especially atmospheric after dark, one of which is off-limits to 99% of people in the area. A third cemetery is also available when the main one is closed, or for those who would like a full three-hour tour.

As for the “and more,” the Operator is happy to customize both the information shared and the walking path to suit any special interests. The experience is all about the guest—whether the focus is history, art, or food.

Please note this is a two-hour walking tour, and the walk back alone can add up to 30 minutes past the stop time (2.5 hours total). Most tours cover between six and seven miles, and the Operator is glad to pause for water or other breaks along the way.
