- Santorini Volcano - The boat sets sail daily from Fira’s old port at 11:00 AM. After a brief 10-minute journey, it reaches the port of Erinia, a small bay at the active volcano. The vessel will stay there for 1 hour and 15 minutes, allowing visitors to take a short path to the summit where the active craters are. Here, guests can capture photos, observe the smoking rocks, and experience the strong scent of brimstone.
- Nea Kameni Hot Springs - Upon returning to the ship, the journey continues to the island of Palaia Kameni, home to the renowned hot springs and natural mud baths formed by volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of St. Nickolas, water temperatures range from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, as it blends with the regular seawater. The ship remains here for about 30 minutes, providing an opportunity for swimming. Although there is no beach, guests can descend the boat’s stairs and swim approximately 30 meters to reach the interior of the Hot Springs bay. After enjoying the thermal waters, the boat returns to the original port.

Great exercise, the... - Great exercise, the guide was amazing. The hot springs were spectacular! I do not do well in cold water. We were there in October & I was still able to do it. Highly recommend!

Great experience - Great! A wonderful trip in a wonderful boat. Nice crew. Walk on the vulcano is a real experience. It's a bit of a walk but the view is really worth it all

Unmissable - It is important to avoid stress knowing how to get there. There's a sloping, donkey descent that takes 25 minutes. Just go down. Plus the time to arrive Fira. There are people who panic as they pass between donkeys.
The cable car is an option, 10 euros per person.
The experience with the captain, the boat, is not to be missed for this price.
Swimming in the waters is excellent. Carry water!

Fantastic experience in santorin - Many thanks for this beautiful excursion of a few hours to the volcano of Santorini + swimming in the warm waters. Left alone with two little girls of 6 years, we were very well received. The boat was a real "pirate ship", few people, we had good explanations in English and French and were able to swim in the hot waters, with confidence and safety. On the boat, you have fries to help children who are not yet swimming well enough (which was the case for my two daughters). The boat left on time and returned on time (I say that versus some comments read before). This excursion will remain our best memory of Santorini! Thank you, Dakoutros!

Must to do: Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirasia, view of the Caldera by sea from Oia to Fira passing under Skaros - Pleasant experience with friendly and professional staff; excursion to the volcano with exciting guide; we opted for the longer excursion of about hours to the island of Thirasia, beautiful for the bathing stop and the view towards Santorini (but you could choose for a lunch in one of the taverns on the harbor or for a climb to the village of Manolas). Absolutely competitive prices.

Swim first, then volcano tour - Touring the volcano was fascinating. Be aware it's a long way up on sometimes rough, rocky path. Gorgeous views from the top!!
For the swimming to the hot springs, I was disappointed to learn it was first (before the volcano hike). I didnt want to be wet for the hike, so we stayed on the boat. During shoulder season (now), the hot springs is only warm (not hot). You have to swim a fair distance in the cold water to reach the "warm" springs, then swim back thru the cold water. I probably would still do this tour, but would not have worn our swimsuit under our clothes, if we knew this in advance.
