• Mama Thira Tavern - Another highlight of this tour is Firostefani, the ‘crown of Fira.’ Named for its elevated position, this area offers breathtaking views of the island. It is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a significant icon of Santorini.
• Skaros Rock - Approximately 300 meters above sea level, Imerovigli is often called the “balcony of the Aegean,” and it lives up to this name by providing a spectacular view of the Aegean sunset. Other attractions include numerous churches in typical Cycladic architecture, particularly the church of Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of St. Nikolaos, as well as Skaros Rock, which features remnants of a medieval fortress.
• Ιερά Μόνη Προφήτου Ηλία Θήρας - Situated at the peak of the island’s highest mountain (600 meters above sea level) and dating back to 1711, this site is of great historical interest and offers stunning, indescribable views.
• Pyrgos Restaurant - Pyrgos Village showcases all the magic of Santorini with panoramic views of both sides of the island while retaining elements of Venetian rule. The traditional Cycladic houses and pathways encircle the old Venetian castle, offering a blend of both worlds and making Pyrgos Village a must-visit.
• Megalochori - Traditional Village - The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, or the ‘big village,’ welcomes visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the island’s most picturesque villages, featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture, and pirate hideaways.
• Castelli of Emporio - A visit to Emporio is essential. Once the hub of commercial activity, it is the largest settlement in Santorini with a distinct medieval character and well-preserved traditional houses. The village center boasts Emporio Kastelli, the best-preserved castle on the island. Enjoy a stroll through the charming narrow streets and be sure to visit the churches.
• Perissa Black Sand Beach - Black Beach, or Perissa, marks the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and striking black sand, we will sample local specialties at the many seaside restaurants.
• Red Beach - True to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features an impressive formation of red volcanic rock that dramatically contrasts with the magnificent blue sea – a truly unique sight.
• Akrotiri Archaeological Site - This is one of the most significant prehistoric settlements in the Aegean. Akrotiri had evolved into a major city before being buried in ash by volcanic eruptions. The ash has preserved structures and their contents, allowing visitors to marvel at this ancient wonder.
• Venetsanos Winery - The island is also renowned for its wine-making tradition. This private tour includes a stop at Venetsanos Winery, offering visitors the chance to sample the splendid local varieties for which Santorini is famous.
• Wine Museum Koutsogiannopoulos - This unique museum is a 300-meter labyrinthine cave, 8 meters underground, showcasing the history of local wine and the life of vine-growers since 1660!
