• Corinth Canal - Our initial stop is at the Corinth Canal, the narrow passage between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese. Completed in 1893, it was a marvel of its era. Discover its fascinating and varied history, from ancient times to today, as you watch yachts glide beneath its steep cliffs.
• Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - After entering the Peloponnese, our first major stop is the well-preserved ruins of Ancient Corinth, a powerful and influential city-state of ancient Greece. Walk through its streets, temples, markets, and fountains, following in the footsteps of Classical Greeks, Ancient Romans, and St. Paul. Refreshments and rest stops are available at local cafes near the entrance if needed.
• Archaeological Museum of Corinth - A small museum located at the archaeological site, featuring a limited but intriguing collection of artifacts.
• Archaeological Site Mycenae - Next, we visit the impressive ruins of Ancient Mycenae, a key site in the development of Ancient Greece. Central to the Mycenaean period from 1600 to 1100 BC, it was home to the palace of the legendary Agamemnon, leader of the Greeks during the Trojan War. Experience the grandeur of the site by passing through the 20-meter wide city walls, entering through the massive Lion’s Gate, and exploring Agamemnon’s throne room and associated tombs. Excavations have uncovered over 15 kg of gold and other priceless treasures, many of which are displayed in the modern on-site museum, including Agamemnon’s death mask.
• Archaeological Museum of Ancient Mycenae - Located within the main archaeological site, it is recommended to visit this museum first for valuable background information and unique exhibits that bring the life and times of the Ancient Mycenaeans to life.
• Nafplio - After a morning of activities, enjoy lunch in Nafplio, one of Greece’s most beautiful towns. This historic port city by the sea boasts charming narrow streets with Neoclassic and Venetian architecture, upscale local craft and clothing shops, and a seafront filled with cafes and restaurants offering views of the Venetian castle of Bourtzi in the bay. Take time to explore its picturesque streets, pick up a souvenir, or simply relax over lunch.
• Sanctuary of Asklepios - The ruins of the Ancient Sanctuary of Asklepios are part of the same site as the Ancient Theatre.

At the end of your day, unwind and recharge as your driver safely returns you to your hotel or other destination.

• The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus - After lunch, visit the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios, the first healing center of the Ancient World, where you will also find the remarkable Theatre of Epidaurus, one of Greece’s most visited ancient sites. The temple and theatre, dating from the 4th century, are masterpieces of classical Greek architecture. Join other visitors in testing its world-famous acoustics with a poem or song before heading back!
• Epidaurus Archaeological Museum - A small but focused museum within the main archaeological site, showcasing many fascinating finds, including written tablets describing the healing practices at Asclepius, offering amazing insights into the site’s main activities thousands of years ago.
• Nemea - OLIVE ESTATE OPTION: If you choose this option during booking, you will visit an Olive Estate to learn about the production of various olives and olive oil with on-site experts. An olive oil tasting is included. Note that you can visit up to two other sites listed in combination with the Estate Visit.
