Do this tour! - I really enjoyed this tour! Climb the volcano on Nea Kemini, swim to the hot springs on Palea Kemini (if you're a strong swimmer - 2 people from our group had to be rescued - but it is fun enough just staying on the boat and taking photos of the volcanic rocks, pigs and goats, and the other boats), pick a place for lunch in the port at Thirasia, and climb the steps to the top if you want to (beautiful views). On the way back the boat stops for a bit to give you a chance to look through the glass bottom (not much to see but rocks and a very few tiny fish on my trip but the color of the water is beautiful), and then sail past Oia to view it from the sea. The tour guide goes up the volcano with the group and provides lots of info as well as giving some info about each of the other stops while on the boat (in English, French and Italian). Other than that, you have free time to explore on your own. A very fun day.

Sunny days - The boat trip included everything you would want to see. The staff were friendly and helpful. The volcano walk was long and hot - I wouldn’t really bother doing this again, but I’m also lazy! The thermal springs was a good opportunity to cool down, and Therassia was a pretty stop off. I really enjoyed the day and thought it good value.

Great experience, we had no problem (except we forgot we had the transfer included on the go hahaha) - An incredible experience, the complete tour has Transfer from the hotel to the Port of Athinios, so from there we went to the port of Fira (which they call the “old port”, remembering that fair is the “centre” of Santorini, super simple and saving the trip to the point of departure (which has a cost of transportation + cost of descent to the port of Fira - 6 euros per Cover for a stretch of climb-descent on the “telepheric” or the donkey itself). Maybe we were lucky because the boat was not so full, we took great advantage, the climb to the volcano is exhausting, besides everything quiet and accessible for any age!

Full packed bus - The saling and trip was very Nice. But the transfer with bus was awful. I hat to sit with my teen year old on my lap. Because of over booked bus. And no places to sit.

Average trip, not worthy - 10 min on boat until you get to volcano Volcano entry :5e per person which is extremely expensive. Nothing interesting to see there Another 15 minutes on boat Hot springs was nice, but we stayed just 15 min there. Another 15 minutes on boat Thirasia : just expensive restaurant and no enough time to go to the village. 20 minutes to be back to the port We didn't find the trip to be interesting and it's not worthy. Better to spend time elsewhere. The boat trip and volcano entry are just cash grabs.

Sardines on a school trip. - Really a disappointment. It all started with a messy pick-up at the hotel, bad driver to the port, hours of unnecessary waiting without info and then: packed boat and a grumpy guide who only: ‘Follow me pliiiiiisss’ could say. We were treated like preschoolers. The boat is not comfortable and also not very big. The destinations we visit are also not very spectacular. The volcano is most beautiful from the water, the hot spring is with brown water and too full, and Thirasia is still going, except that it is also busy there, and MUST stay on the quay for two hours, I asked if we could get back on board, just to sit, but 3:10 !! there was shouting from the upper deck. Then there are 100+ people waiting in the sun and that pet only opens the gate to board at 3:20. To top it all off, at 4pm there is a coach waiting to take us to Oia like stinking sardines, once there, own transport arranged back... what chaos!

Too bad the unnecessary waiting times, volcano island and boat are beautiful, thirasia quickly forgotten. - Logistic nightmare, little information, pick up and drop off hotel is a drama, boat is ok, the volcano island is also nice to see. But the 2 hour stay on thirasia is a complete waist of time. Rather sail around.

Medium - This is a one-day cruise. She's starting out on the bus. The descent to the seaport. It is a small boat with an outer deck and an inner deck. It remains very small compared to the number of people who climb on it. He's running out of chairs. It is tight and not at all ergonomic. The customer turns into sardine. Visiting the island with the crater is paid for, but it is very fast. An expeditious ascent and descent. There is then the hot spring, but there is hardly time to dive into the water when the boat sounds the death knell of the return. Then there is the stop on the island of Thirasia. There, the boat stays for an hour and a half for guests to go eat at the restaurants on the beach. It’s ultra touristic. It’s sheep. The island of Thirasia, you can go with taxi boats that go back and forth all day. So, it’s better to treat yourself to ferry boats than this kind of day.

To be avoided - Booked in Oia. Departed at 8.50 arriving at the ferry port at 9.30. Too much time waiting for tourist buses from all over the island. Stop at the old port of Fira until 11. An endless waste of time. Minimum explanations of the volcano and hot springs. In the afternoon between Thirasia and Oia the commander tried to cut the way to a huge ferry with the result of having to block the engines suddenly and be hit by the waves of the wake with abnormal pitch.

Need to better inform customers - Contrary to what we were told, there was no French guide. We waited 30 minutes on the port before leaving because the boat was not ready. On the return trip, it is impossible to dock at the port of departure, the sea being too strong, so direction Fira. Now we're being asked to pay for the funicular to get back into town to find our bus... which wasn't there. We are put in a taxi, which asks us to pay once we arrive at the hotel, when we had paid the transfer! Not very serious. The volcanic island is worth a visit.
