- Fiscardo - After approximately a 35-minute drive through lush landscapes, we arrive at the cosmopolitan port and village of “Fiskardo”. Here, we can admire the well-preserved traditional architecture, enjoy a tea or coffee at one of the many quaint cafés along the waterfront, take photographs, and perhaps do some shopping. After a delightful time in Fiskardo, we head to another top-notch destination.
- Assos - Following a scenic ride filled with captivating views, we reach the small peninsula where the enchanting village of “Assos” is located for our second stop. We have around 90 minutes to explore this picturesque village, admire the ruins of the old fortress atop the small hill, or enjoy a coffee or meal.
- Melissani Cave - After a wonderful time in Agia Efimia, we set off to explore a group of natural wonders. Driving through stunning landscapes, we arrive at the beautiful and mythical “Melissani” cave lake. Inside the cave, a small boat takes us on a ride around the lake to admire the stunning colors of the waters.
- Drogarati Cave - Next, we visit the impressive “Drogarati” Cave, where we can marvel at the formations of stalactites and stalagmites created over thousands of years. At the entrance, there is a gift shop and a small café to enjoy some treats. Finally, before heading back, we make a brief stop at a shop where we can taste and purchase local products.

A great way to get to know the island in a day. - Having never been to Kefalonia, we thought this would be a good way to get to know the island. The pick-up was from the port close to our hotel. The coach was clean and smart and the driver excellent. The tour guide's English was superb (she's Dutch so it would be) and her diction clear. We loved the stories and Mythology with which she enhanced the tour descriptions. The lunch stop was lovely and reasonably priced. So, all in all well worth it.

Fantastic trip to Fiskardo - : We have just returned from the above tour and want to thank Elvira our guide for her informative and often humorous commentary. She brought the trip to life and made it a memorable day for us. Her knowledge of the island and its history is fantastic.
Also thanks to Andreas our driver who negotiated the mountain roads with skill and care.
All in all a fantastic day and excellent value for money.

Excellent bus tour - Really good day trip on air conditioned bus. Visited Fiskardo, Myrtos, drogarati Caves, melissani Lake, and Assos. Elvira, our tour guide was really informative. I went with my husband and four children aged 6, 9,10, and 13. We all had a really enjoyable day with a whistle stop tour.

Elvira & Nikolas Rock! - A small KCG took me to Argostoli from Skala to meet the fully packed coach bus. Elvira (tour guide) and Nikolas (driver) greeted us and we went to multiple destinations from 9a.m to 6:30 p.m. Elvira from the start guided & informed us about the region as Nickolas excellently transported us with his defying gravity smooth & perfect driving skills. The route included a stop at Myrtos beach, a stop at Fiskardo, Assos stop for lunch (cost not included—with great eateries recommended by Elvira), a lake boat tour (optional and additional cost $10euros), and final stop to Drogarto caves in Sami (additional $6euro charge). Elvira’s voice was soothing and as a New Yorker—I’d highly recommend she come to our city to do this kind of work or more realistically-pursue a voice over or ASMR profession). Elvira was kind, diligent, informative, and absolutely delightful! Thank you to the whole team for an amazing experience!

Hectic day but lots of beautiful parts of Kefalonia to see... - This was an early start so had to pre-book an early breakfast at our hotel. We set off on a full 53 seater coach and headed to the Messalongi caves. When we arrived we were told to head straight for the boats and no toilet break until we had done the cave, so i crossed my legs and did the boat. great 10 min in the cave with our Greek guide telling all about the caves. Then (via the toilet back to the coach and then off to Sami harbour where we then climbed aboard our boat, again, lovely, plenty of room two deck for sun worshipers or those requiring a little shade. sailed over to the adjacent island of Ithika and docked slightly off a hidded beach, my wife was first to jump in for a lovely cool swim. Then back on board and sailed back to Fiskardo harbour where we stopped for our taverna lunch. This was a little hectic as two 53 seat coaches had joined the party so quite busy. the restaurant toilet had massive queues and as such only managed lunch and toilet but not enough time to shop. Then back on the coach for the drive to Assos beach, again another stunningly beautiful location where we had an hour to get a coffee, toilets and a little shopping....would recommend hiring a car and popping back here its lovely. Then back into the coach and up to the Myrtos beach viewing point. I have never seen water so blue....stunning views again a hire car for a lone trip is advised. Then back on the coach for the hour trip back to the hotel. Full day, quite tired but seen 6 of the most beautiful locations on Kefalonia in one day....bit hectic at times but definitely worth it.
