• Avenue of Poseidon (Poseidonos) - Experience the stunning beauty of the Athens Riviera, a coastal stretch in the southern suburbs of Athens, extending from Piraeus to Cape Sounio, the southernmost point of the Attica region. Enjoy the endless coastline dotted with charming gulfs, marinas, and natural wonders. The journey from your pick-up location (hotel or Port of Piraeus) to our first stop, the Lake of Vouliagmeni, will take approximately 50 minutes.
• Lake Vouliagmeni - Marvel at the breathtaking view of Vouliagmeni Lake, a geological wonder recognized as a Site of Outstanding Natural Beauty by the Ministry of Culture. The lake is part of Greece’s national NATURA 2000 network. We will spend around 20 minutes here, allowing you to capture stunning photographs. The next leg of our journey to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion will take about another 20 minutes.
• Temple of Poseidon - Be enchanted by the mystical atmosphere of your final destination, the Temple of Poseidon. As the God of the Sea, Poseidon’s temples were often located in places that physically related to or symbolized the deity. The view of the Aegean Sea from the Temple is truly breathtaking. Take the opportunity to capture photos that will be cherished for a lifetime. We will spend approximately 1 1/2 hours here before heading to our last point of interest, Thoricus, which is about a 10-minute drive away.
• Archaeological Site of Thorikos - Discover the oldest theater in existence and explore the first industrial area dating back 3500 years. We will spend about half an hour at this site before returning to the drop-off point, a journey that will take approximately 80 minutes.
