Italian Afternoon Tea - Fantastic afternoon tea for our anniversary, the cannelloni was our favourite but all the food, both savoury and sweet were spot on. Really friendly and helpful staff who packaged up what we couldn't eat to take away with us, would highly recommend

Fantastic place with fab food - Really nice atmosphere once you’re in the place. The staff are friendly and really helpful. The afternoon tea was amazing and there was a lot of different items to try. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Sicilian NQ for some food and drinks.

The patisserie was not... - The patisserie was not aware of our booking but honored it anyway and as all the food is vegan based there was no issue that they didn’t have our requested dietary requirements. Food was lovely too!

So disappointing - avoid! - Booked this experience for a friends birthday and was nothing like we expected sadly. On the positive side, the place was central and easy to find and it was a pretty little place. However we were going for the afternoon tea priced at £25pp. The 3 tier stand came out with very little variety or flavour. between 3 people we had: 1 filled arancini, 6 tiny mini arancini bites the size of cherry tomatoes and flavourless, 6 tomato bruchetta, a small pot of sundried tomatoes and 2 dips. The only things to dip in though were the tiny arancini bites! There were 4 small savoury ricotta filled cannoli, but these were in the same sweet cannoli shells used for the sweets. On the top layer there were 3 yellow and 3 green mini filled cannoli that just tasted sweet and were stuck to everything else. There were 3 chocolate covered profiteroles that were OK but the sauce was over everything else and very messy. Underneath the sticky pile was a small single thin slice of a tart that may have been slightly fruity but was covered in choc sauce and creamy sickly filling from the canoli. We had to ask for plates and cutlery, we had to find someone to ask for another hot drink too. Perhaps that was the worst thing for a Sicilian restaurant, the coffee was dreadful! Don't waste your money, it is nothing like the pictures advertised and an embarrassing choice for a friends birthday treat too.

Wouldn’t recommend - We expected meats and cheese per photos on trip advisor offer for £25 per person … it was completely vegetarian and when we complained were told these were old photos! Few different sauces, dry arancini, left tiramisu and pistachio mouse cake which we were meant to share but it had been sat on the side for over an hour while we waited for savoury items. We did get a free drink each which was nice of lady but would rather have had food as advertised which it seemed didn’t exist,

Not good - We have been today, the food served was nothing like the photos shown, we basically had 2 pieces of bruschetta each, couple of small meat balls each and arancini each, some cakes and a cup of tea. For £25 each person there are some fantastic afternoon teas available in Manchester so don’t bother with this one.
