Smart, fun tour will introduce you to lots of interesting historical women - If you’re a history buff with a Demi ist bent, take this tour! Matilda was a fabulous guide - exceptionally articulate and well-prepared. I really enjoyed learning g about all the interesting, intellectual women making inroads into various male only professions. You really get an excellent feel for The New Woman emerging around 1900. I will look up this friendly, smart, woman tun tour company again when I visit London next!

Great, one of a kind tour! - What a unique, interesting, and fun experience! I was introduced to important women I’d never heard of, and learned new things about some I already knew about. With a nice walk around the neighborhood. Matilda was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the topic. I would definitely do one of their other tours if I was here for longer — something to look forward to for my next visit!

Amazing tour - Becky was brilliant. This is the second walking tour I have been on with Women of London, and another couple joined us on the tour who have also booked a whole series of tours with them too! If this doesn’t tell you how great they are, then what will?! Becky is knowledgeable, and tells the stories of the women and areas with incredible storytelling skills. She isn’t just reciting a script, she genuinely knows and cares. I would certainly recommend (and have been!)

Men and Women should join this tour! - I highly recommend this tour also to men! I have visited London many times, and this tour enabled me to see a familiar part of London through a different lens. Matilda is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. She has deep knowledge of history and literature, which we were able to enjoy when asking follow-up questions. There are so many amazing women in history who don't get the acknowledgment they deserve. Truly inspiring!

Amazing History and Story Telling - Highly Highly Recommend - My husband and I took this walking tour and loved it! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and a great story teller. We learned about history, architecture, entertainment, and most of all women! We've been in that neighborhood dozens of times - but were able to see it through a new lens. Highly recommend for locals and tourist alike!

Very rewarding! The tour opens up new horizons and gives a new perspective on London. - This tour opens up new horizons, it is very diverse and varied. Many women have achieved their goals at a time when they have had to overcome many obstacles - in medicine, education, literature, the military and even through liberation from slavery. The tour opens up a new view of London - it's worth participating in!

Fascinating insights into the lives of some amazing women. - Absolutely fabulous tour with Charlotte as our guide. She was clearly very knowledgeable about all the women she discussed on the tour. It was great to hear about these women who were each instrumental in some way in affording women of today the freedom and choice that is now taken for granted. Only wish we had more time to join the other tours. Thank you. Janet and Phil
