Excellent way to see Westminster Abbey! - Our guide Mathew was excellent. We have been on at least a dozen of these types of tours and he was the best. He had many interesting stories and full knowledge of Westminster Abbey. We saw and learned twice as much as we could have expected. Highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful and Informative with Nigel - You must sign up for this tour! It is the most wonderful way to see Westminster Abbey. Our tour guide, Nigel, was super! He was so friendly and so informative. He told great stories and was so much fun. Each person was given an earpiece so we could listen to Nigel. The group was not large (around 15) but with how crowded it was, this was really helpful. I saw many other tours that did not have this feature, and were larger, and I’m sure the visitors did not get the great tour that we did. This tour also included the Jubilee exhibit which is upstairs. This is where there are a lot of items that are historical in the building of the Abbey. You also get an up close view of the ornate roof. And, you go to a spot where you see an absolutely spectacular view overlooking the main sanctuary and can see what it would be like to see a royal wedding there. We were thrilled with Nigel. He made our visit special.

An absolute must when visiting London - There are not enough words to describe the beauty of Westminster Abbey. Having a guide to take you through is a great option. Our guide was helpful, very knowledgeable, and knew how to maneuver through the crowd. I. selected the 9 am tour and it was busy. At the end we were able to continue to walk around on our own. Absolutely worth it!!

Interesting. Our tour... - Interesting. Our tour guide was good and informative. The only problem I saw was the size of the crowds. Skip the line was the only way to go.

Rocky start what I recommend this experience to a friend - Off to a rocky start. I was there 15 minutes early, but there was confusion about which statue. I was asking all the other tour operators and they didn’t know where the tour was. Finally, it was after nine and a very nice young lady tour operator walked us over to the entrance of Westminster and found our tour guide for us. It was a little disconcerting that as much money as we paid for this tour that there was no Reaching out for us not being there especially after I had sent a message to the tour operator directly. so if it wasn’t for that very sweet young lady, we might’ve missed our tour. Other tour operators seem to make an effort if there were missing people and all that confusion.

No show guide! - We arrived for our tour which was confirmed 2 days ago by Walks UK and no one showed. No one answered the chat so called and was told my tour was changed to Wednesday and I had accepted. Told them I would never have accepted because I was leaving that morning. They said they sent me email but then said no they didn’t. Other families waiting for guide as well but some had booked through another site so it was not Viator’s fault. No one had received any message tour was changed or cancelled. They told us the Abbey was closed and that is why it was changed, again a lie as people were clearly going in with and without guides. Called Viator and they called Walks UK and they came back on and said they were unable to do tour and that is why it was it had been changed. Viator was quick to do refund. Again none of this was Viator’s fault but would advise against booking with Walks UK and it was confirmed with them! If they had told us we would have tried to book with another company or tried to book tickets on our own to see Westminster Abbey. DON’T USE WALKS UK!!
