Changing of the Guard - Observe the soldiers as they prepare for the renowned Changing of the Guard ceremony. While waiting, the expert guide will explain the guards’ responsibilities and the symbolism of their unique uniforms. March alongside the soldiers to a special vantage point that offers a close-up view of the event.
Please Note: The ‘Changing of the Guard’ may be canceled at the last minute due to adverse weather and does not occur daily. On days when this ceremony is not held, guests will witness the King’s Life Guard Change at Horse Guards Parade. Additionally, access to the panoramic viewpoint may be restricted due to local events. - Westminster Abbey - Explore the country’s most significant Gothic building, rich in history and equally fascinating in the present. - Please note: The Changing of the Guard occurs only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we will bring you to the Horse Guard Ceremony and a walking tour of Westminster area. There are also times where the changing of the Guard will not go ahead without prior notice and this is due to last minute decision made by the palace, local authorities or bad weather.
