Good value with great guides - very informative - Tour guide from City Wonders, Jo, and Beefeater were really informative with great stories told with humour. The kids loved them too. Good to get in early to avoid the Crown Jewel queues. I was there for 4.5 hours including the tour and it was time well spent.

Worth While - The tour was definitely worth the little extra it cost - the initial introduction, facts and tales told were very good followed by an introduction to the Beefeater who was excellent. you then had time at leisure to see the Crown Jewels and any other part of the grounds.

Great intro to the tower, meet and greet with Beefeater with early access to uncrowded Crown Jewels. - This is a great tour that myself, hubby and son really enjoyed. It was well worth the early start to avoid the crowds. Joe showed us around initially then handed us over to the Beefeater guide. It was really interesting and fun.. it’s 45 mins total with the guides but you’re then free to take your time and explore the Tower of London at leisure. We were able to enjoy the Crown Jewels when it wasn’t crowded. Would definitely recommend.

Great tour, great value - Great guide (Jo?) and great to after Jo have access to a real Beefeater. That is not included in most offers and it made our visit so much more valuble

Matthew (guide) and Andy... - Matthew (guide) and Andy Harris (Beefeater) were fantastic. The tour was very informative and humor sprinkled in the presentation. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and willing to give other ideas of places to visit while in London.

Our Beefeater was the best! - Our tour guide was good and our Beefeater was delightful! She taught us about the beefeaters and the tower and was welcoming and entertaining!

Really enjoyed my time!! - I was a bit hesitant as there are some tough reviews for this tour. However, I have to say it was quite enjoyable. Meeting location pin is off but it’s right in from of ticket office. Guide was great, funny , charming and well informed. The meet and greet with the Beefeater was fantastic. 30 minutes of real insight in the history HER role (which I loved) and a great inside scoop in what to look for inside. She was a true inspiration and one of only a few women ever in the role. Overall I really enjoyed my experience. I think it truly comes down to the tour guide and engagement. Crown Jewels were amazing as well.

Expected more - Finding our guide Joe was relatively easy. He was knowledgeable, personable and funny. We only wish we had had more time with him. Basically we spent 20 minutes with him outside of the Tower and then he released us to the Beef Eater. We thought the Beef Eater would walk us around and give us a bit more info but he only spent about 15-20 minutes with us. Primarily talking about the role of the Beef Eater, which was interesting but we would have liked more time. I guess when you associate the word tour with what you pay for you expect a little more. All in all it was great to walk around the grounds but we would have liked more interaction for what we paid.

Do not book!!! - This tour is misleading and not worth it. Buy tickets online and skip the line. Total scam tourist trap. Not recommended.
