Fantastic time and fantastic host, Ollie - 4 of us went last night and please let Ollie, our host know he was awesome. He made the evening such fun, entertaining and informative. He was a fabulous host and his ‘side kick’ aka Mark/Harold etc was brilliant. We loved him too. Such a great evening and so highly recommended. We had to peel away to get our last train before going back to the pub. So had to wave farewell. So want to say now how good Ollie is and what a great evening we had on 25.4.26. Highly recommended tour. You will laugh and enjoy and be thoroughly entertained whilst learning lots about the Southwark area of London. Perfect!

Great evening tour! - Maggie, our tour guide, was funny, knowledgeable, insightful and ready for any crazy or funny question we had. We had a really fun group - our family of four, a solo traveler, and four fun guys out on the town. Maggie gave us some gory insights along the way….and a lot of history. She was amazing through the entire tour! You can tell she loves history and sharing London tidbits with tourists! So worth it!

Perfect tour of history and comedic jokes - Stories of the sometimes the gross and gory of the past of Southwark. Instead of hearing about stories of the upper classes, we heard stories about the poor peasants As a history buff I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour. Learned a few things on the way. A perfect combo of history and comedic jokes. Maggie, our tour guide was brilliant, her passion of telling the stories really brought them to life. You can tell she really knows the stories, and cared about them, instead of just telling them. We shared a few laughs, a few gross facts and a few surprises on the way. Highly recommend

A superb evening out - A brilliant evening out, learning about the awful but fascinating history of Southwark and the London Bridge area. Mary our guide was a bundle of fun, bringing each story to life through her enthusiasm and knowledge. Regardless of the question (and we had a few), she had a thorough and well researched answer for it, her insight was really impressive, and showed how much she cared about the subject matter and her work. A really engrossing, enjoyable experience. Definitely recommended.

What a great experience - not to be missed. - Mary the guide was excellent! I also really love the special guest who appeared as different people - a serf, a tax collector, a theif. She was awesome. Highly recommended - you'll love it.

Rushed and Ruined by Rude Guide! - Our guide was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the start. When a member of our group asked a clarifying question about a historical date, she rolled her eyes and snapped, "If you'd been listening, you'd know." She rushed us through the entire South Bank without waiting for anyone, and we could barely hear her over the London traffic. The information was just a surface-level rehash of things you can find on Wikipedia, not the "deep dive" their website promises. The real insult came after the tour when the guide, expecting a tip, shouted at us for being "cheap" and "disrespectful." I have never been so humiliated on a tour. Avoid this company and take your money elsewhere
