Perfect day at Stonehenge! - I had done original booking with David and setting up was super easy! Christopher was our guide and he was great! A very nice man and not only knowledgeable but clearly passionate about what he does. He took us to Woodhenge, Stonehenge and Salisbury after lunch. We were a family of 6 including two young girls (5 &6) and he was great with them the entire day and when they got bored and cranky Christopher took them to a local park to let them have some fun and get some energy out. If I ever do more tours it will be London Country Tours and Christopher for sure. Thanks to David as well for the stress free setup!

Best Driver Best Experience - Dariusz , our driver was a Joy . His knowledge of London , Stonehenge and a small county village Pub that he arranged our lunch is evidence of Professionalism and graciousness . I would have to say that he made our first ever visit to the UK Exceptional. My wife & I agree he is truly one of the few Renaissance Men in the hospitality business.

Amazing!! - Had a wonderful tour. The car was very clean and the driver was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. All in all very highly recommend.

Above and beyond! - Stonehenge was the last place to see on my mom’s bucket list. Christopher went above and beyond to make it so special for us. He was prompt, friendly, helpful, patient and informative. He stopped by at Wood Henge before going to Stonehenge. That was bonus for us! We booked a private driver, but he took it upon himself to be our private tour guide as well - DOUBLE BONUS! We had 1 day in London and not enough time to see everything, but Christopher spent a couple of hours beyond our expired time and did his best to drive us past what he could. We would not have had such a memorable and meaningful experience at Stonehenge (and London) if it wasn’t for Christopher. Thank you so much, Christopher!

A sincere pleasure - We had the sincere pleasure of sharing our day with Mr. Christopher Peck from London Country Tours during a motor trip for a private inner circle sunset tour of Stonehenge on Sunday, June 15th, 2025. Hampton Court Palace (home to Henry VIII and William & Mary) was our first stop. It was a delight to see this historic place. The palace, the gardens, and the history are amazing. And for most of us tourists, there is never enough time to see it all. Before our appointed time at Stonehenge, we asked for a recommendation for a good place to enjoy a meal, Christopher smiled and took us straight away to a wonderful restaurant in Woodford Downs called The Wheatsheaf, fabulous and quite worthy, especially since it was Father’s Day. This restaurant is located about 15 minutes from the Stonehenge entry. Although we anticipated enjoying Stonehenge, it was truly amazing and magical to be inside the stones and see the sunset. Just fabulous! However, with Christopher’s thorough knowledge of the site and its history, our understanding of this precious bit of British heritage was greatly enhanced! After our visit concluded, Christopher then drove us to a spot a few miles away called Woodhenge! It is a timber monument with six oval rings of posts. It is also quite magical and built presumably around the same time as Stonehenge. It was an extra treat! Throughout it all Christopher’s quiet humor and engaging personality made us comfortable and made us feel we had a new friend “across the pond”! Suffice to say we will not only request this fine gentleman and excellent, safe driver when we return but will definitely recommend London Country Tours to our friends and family should they venture to London and its environs and any time! Excellent way to tour UK - David Stubbs was excellent in every way, giving us a personalized tour to Stonehenge and then further to the lower Cotswolds areas. He was on time and provided so much commentary about London in our way to the countryside. He was able to answer all of our questions about history and current events. David prepared us for the Stonehenge visit with historical facts and best spots to not miss. Afterwards, we visited two small villages with the flavor of the countryside. He reserved a pub lunch for us and led us to the best areas of town for sightseeing and shopping. I highly recommend this way to tour areas of the UK. David was excellent!!

Wonderful day touring Stonehenge, Avebury and Hampton Court Palace. - Our guide Eddie was attentive and engaging, and delivered us from site to site flawlessly. We traveled from Oxford to London via our tour sites, leaving and arriving on time.

Alam is the best!! - Alam was the most amazing driver and host. We went to Stonehenge and Bath. Great guide. Super friendly. Very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for any group!

A great day spent with David Stubbs. - David Stubbs tour of the Cotswolds was excellent! We first went there, then took an 8 PM tour of the Stonehenge, up close. We were just in time to have the sun go down, what a magnificent spectacle. He was very informative, very polite and a great safe driver. He showed us a magnificent day.

Wonderful Stonehedge experience. - Our friendly and knowledgable guide (the David Stubbs himself) tailored the trip to our needs. He answered our many questions with patience. We had lunch at a charming country pub that we never would have found on our own A great day out.
