Great tour of the English countryside! - This was a great tour of Shakespeare's birthplace, the Cotswalds and Oxford. Lucy was a great tour guide, knowledgeable about all of the areas visited and able to provide a great deal of historical context. Great tour from a personable guide!

Really worth it, wonderful tour, family of 3 - Wonderful tour! Lucy was an amazing tour guide. Pick up was as described and on time. There was just us- a family of 3, and 1 other couple on this tour, which was really nice. Bus ride was comfortable. We drove out to Stratford upon Avon first. We had just enough time to visit Shakespears birthplace, and find a restroom. The main street was really cute. Then we were off to the Cotswolds. we drove through several villages and stopped in Stow-on-the-wold first, had a nice lunch at Lucy's tea room. We had a few more minutes to walk around then back on the bus. We drove through some more villages, all with great commentary and history from our tour guide Lucy. We stopped at Birbury, and saw the famous row of cottages and buitful scenery. Even though it was winter, the grass was SO green and scenery still beautiful. After this we headed to Oxford. Lucy did a walking tour- about 30-40 mins, through the university and part of the town, and then we had another 1.5 hours to explore, plenty of time for a sit down dinner. We actually left the tour to go on our own adventure at this point, but the rest of the tour got back on the bus at around 1830 and headed back to London.

Swan song - The English Bus and Tony were absolutely wonderful. Tony is a superb guide and travel mate. My only regret is not having more time in Stratford and getting to Oxford when it was getting dark. Thank you for a lovely day.

A beautiful trip through English countryside - Our tour guide, Jon, did an incredible job on our tour. When I mentioned that I was a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, he took the time to mark several locations on the Oxford map to pay special attention to when we visited. This allowed my wife and I to more easily navigate and see some incredible sights. It meant so much to me as we only had a short amount of time to see multiple sights in the area. We were also able to have a beer at the oldest pub in England and see quaint Cotswold villages. I would highly recommend this tour!

An awesome day trip - This is a really awesome tour, my friend and I highly recommend it! The pacing felt really great, we had plenty of time at each of our stops and didn’t feel rushed at all which we thought was awesome. My favourite part was definitely Oxford and the walking tour that our guides Nolh and Alex gave (also huge shout out to both of them, their commentary and stories throughout the trip were very entertaining and informative). The smaller group size was perfect for this trip and made the whole thing feel a lot more intimate. 10/10 would go again, would give 6 stars if we could.

Fun in the English Countryside - We had a wonderful tour day with Cara from the English Bus, who was our tour guide and driver extraordinaire. Cara was an amazing tour guide. Thorough, informative, friendly, and funny. Her love of history was contagious! She kept the tour atmosphere light and engaging. We had a good amount of time in each location and didn't feel rushed. While in London, we completed 3 tours with different tour companies, and this was by far the best and most comfortable. Cara even provided us with bottled water and a sweet treat! Would highly recommend!
