- Freemasons’ Hall - Freemasons’ Hall is situated on Great Queen Street in Covent Garden, on a site used for Freemason meetings since 1775. It is one of London’s finest Art Deco buildings, constructed between 1927-33 to honor the thousands of masons who lost their lives in WWI. Freemasonry is among the oldest social and charitable organizations globally, rooted in the traditions of medieval stonemasons who built cathedrals and castles. Freemasons follow four guiding principles: Integrity, Friendship, Respect, and Charity. Membership is open to all backgrounds, aiming to empower members to reach their full potential, build character, and contribute positively to society.
- Lincoln’s Inn - Lincoln’s Inn is a professional institution for barristers in England and Wales. A barrister is a lawyer specializing in court representation and legal advice. Established for 600 years, its primary focus is the education and training of student and practicing members. The Ostler’s Hut in Lincoln’s Inn is considered London’s smallest listed building. Built in 1860, it provided a resting place for the ostler, who cared for visitors’ horses. This magnificent site resembles a small village within London, showcasing a glorious mix of eras and architectural styles.
- The Old Bank of England Pub - The Old Bank boasts one of the most stunning pub interiors in London. Located in the former Law Court’s branch of the Bank of England, which operated from 1888 to 1975, it is filled with memorabilia from its banking days. Its hidden gem is a vintage Routemaster red bus where visitors can relax and enjoy a drink.
- Temple Church - The Temple Church is one of London’s most historic and beautiful churches. Built by the Knights Templar, a religious military order, it was modeled after the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Founded in 1118 to protect pilgrims in Jerusalem, the Knights Templar arrived in England in the mid-12th century and were dissolved in 1312, yet their legend endures. This beautiful area is filled with historical buildings, lawns, and squares.
- Two Temple Place - William Waldorf Astor, founder of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel NYC, owned Two Temple Place, known for years as Astor House. Astor commissioned its construction in the 1890s as his office and home away from the U.S. This Neo-Gothic building near Victoria Embankment is renowned for its architecture and now serves as a public gallery and home to the Bulldog Trust charity.
- Blackfriars - The Blackfriar is a historic and unique pub in Blackfriars. Built around 1875 on the site of a former medieval Dominican friary and remodeled around 1905, it is one of London’s most famous pubs.
