In 1952, a London bus famously jumped the gap when the bascules lifted unexpectedly, thanks to driver Albert’s quick thinking. Could our tour bus have a similar adventure?
• Tower of London - This historic fortress has been a Royal palace, prison, and zoo. It houses the Crown Jewels and is steeped in history. The Beefeaters, Henry VII’s elite guards, earned their name from their unlimited beef privileges at the King’s table. Legend has it they inspired Toby Carvery.
