Wonderful tour and adventure! - Absolutely loved this tour! Perfect amount of time at each stop. Ample time to be with the group and also wonder on your own. We loved our tour guide Calum! He was kind and friendly with the perfect mixture of tour guide humor and historical knowledge about what we were seeing. We had a perfect weather day in March. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this tour! Calum was the best!!

It's a busy day to see... - It's a busy day to see the sights. There is a fair amount of walking on the tour; not a problem for most people but those who are not mobile may not see everything. Our tour guide was excellent, but some of the success of the trip likely depends on the weather for viewing the White Cliffs.

Beautiful day in Dover/Canterbury - Enjoyed our Dover/Canterbury tour last Saturday. Our tour guide Nick was very informative and engaging, and he even threw in a side walking tour of Canterbury town after the cathedral visit! Weather was beautiful, which is definitely a key consideration for this tour. The only negative was that the seats in the bus were spaced too closely together, which made for a somewhat uncomfortable journey.

Do it in off-season or... - Do it in off-season or shoulder season as we did it. We did it in March. My family enjoyed it very much. Be prepared to walk a lot. Our guide, Sophie was extraordinary.

Amazing places, great guide! Love the small group tours. - Dover castle has so much to see! I was surprised by the number of options and the vastness of the site. The docents are engaging and knowledgeable. The Dynamo tunnel tour was well done and memorable. Cliffs are beautiful and trail was well maintained (except the cows dropped lots of souvenirs to step over) Canterbury Cathedral was awe inspiring. There was live organ music the entire duration of our visit which added so much to the experience. The streets were surprisingly crowded given the early March visit and miserable weather. Our guide, Sophie was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her communication was clear and precise. The preliminary email ( sent day before )could use a redraft and outside review as it created more questions than answers.

Beautiful, well-organized tour - This tour was a wonderful experience and the easiest way to get to see Dover and Canterbury from London. The whole day was incredibly well-organized and from start to finish, our tour guide and bus driver were exceptionally professional and friendly. There was just enough time at each stop to see the most iconic sights: Dover Castle, the White Cliffs, and Canterbury Cathedral. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend!

Good tour, bus sickness - We had a great experience on the Dover Cliffs, Canterbury Cathedral, and Dover Castle tour thanks to our guide, Tem. He was very accommodating and clearly passionate about history, sharing interesting niche facts about each location. He also did a great job looking after the group, frequently going around to make sure everyone was aware of schedule changes or updates. Tem seemed a bit younger and perhaps still gaining experience, and his voice over the bus speaker was sometimes a little quiet and monotone. However, he was knowledgeable and attentive, which made the tour enjoyable. The main drawback was the bus design. It was very lavish, with seats facing multiple directions, several screens, and a center divider for snacks and the restroom. On the way back, a documentary played on the screens which was distracting and made me feel a bit nauseous. Because you can’t really look forward and the windows are tinted, people prone to carsickness may find the ride uncomfortable. Overall, Tem did a great job and his enthusiasm for history made the tour worthwhile.
