Informative Trip - This was a wonderful trip that I highly recommend. Our guide Rory was very knowledgeable about the show and movies. He had great commentary on our way there abut all aspects of the show. When we arrived in the village he took us to the main square and was showed us photos from the show filmed from where we were standing. It really gave you a better idea of how the shots were set. The house is just as grand in person and wonderful to see as you walked up. We had plenty of time to tour the house and walk around the gardens.
I appreciated the bathroom stop about an hour outside of London at a rest stop with bathrooms and various food stalls for snacks and coffee. Then a break in the small town and at the castle.

Downton fans will love it! - Great tour for Downton Abbey fans. Rory was a great guide and the driver was excellent as well. Highly recommend! We went on a Saturday in March so there was no crowding and we got a guided tour. The docent was also excellent and answered everyone’s questions. Our tour included a meal and a book by Lady Carnovan. Both very good.

Downton Abbey tour - Fantastic experience. We had an amazing, charismatic tour guide that showed us the Downton village, and then the Highclere Castle tour was amazing too. Highly recommend for any lovers of Downton Abbey!

A "Downton" Dream Come True – Ask for Ava! - ​If you are a fan of Downton Abbey, this tour is an absolute bucket list requirement. Our guide, Ava, was the heart of the entire experience. Her energy was infectious, and her knowledge of the filming at Bampton and Highclere Castle was off the charts. She shared behind-the-scenes details we never would have known otherwise, all delivered with a wonderfully quirky sense of humor (classic London charm!) that kept us laughing all day.
​A huge shoutout to our driver as well, who was impressively professional and made the journey seamless. If you’re booking this, do yourself a favor and request Ava. She is the absolute best!

An unforgettably wonderful experience - I really needed this tour and Richard and Brit movies tour gave me an unforgettable experience that I will remember forever. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Bampton village (The village of downton abbey) and Highclere castle at Christmas - The stately home of Downton abbey! Thank you for delivering an experience of one of my favorite shows in real life, that will remain indelible in my heart and memory.

A dream come true! - This was an awesome experience. We happened to be at Highclere for the VJ Day celebration. This made the war hospital storyline more real. The house tour was fantastic. Seeing all the artwork and books and bedrooms was great. Our guide Eva gave us unknown tidbits about Downton Abbey and made a super effort to get to know each person.

An Amazing day on the Downton Abbey Tour - Everything I had hoped for - This Downton Abby Tour was everything I had hoped for. Being able to see and tour Highclere Castle, the beautiful grounds and gardens as well as the cute village of Brampton, was a true bucket list experience. Our guide Eva was so knowledgeable and had many fun facts to share.
What made it truly unforgettable was the atmosphere, the stories shared, and the sense of connection to a world we’ve admired from afar. It wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience that will stay with me always. A day filled with memories I’ll treasure forever.
Highly recommend for any fan of Downton Abbey or anyone who appreciates beauty, history, and storytelling at its finest.
