Insightful, inspiring tour for a school group - Rah led our university student group on his tour of Brixton and Stockwell. Every block and alley offered a surprising new set of historical, social and economic information and factoids. He was personable in sharing his own family's connections to the neighborhood and service sectors, he was witty, and he made the content relevant by linking it to current events and social issues. All in all, highly recommended!

Knowledgeable guide and great tour - We did the walking tour of Brixton/Stockwell with Rah. It was really lovely and Rah was very knowledgeable about the local area, rattling off names and years with impressive memory. The tour was well-designed and a good mix of local areas and personal experience. It's also often not very crowded at all. Would definitely recommend it.

Best combination for a tour - It was the best tour I’ve ever joined! Unseen places and unseen people mixed together is the best idea to get the hidden gems of the city. Gives us a new perspective of places we wouldn’t normally notice and you can see the immense effort that was taken to make it possible. I fell like other main attractions such as London Eye, London Bridge etc gives the same energy as other countries’s main attractions - nothing too new - and that’s why I think everyone should try Unseen Tours at least once.

Highly recommended tour of the Brixton area - Loved this tour - I've lived in London but this gave me a new insight into the area and the topic of homelessness. Rah was really informative and pointed out lots of things that I'd never noticed in the area even though I thought I knew it well!

Connect with lesser known culture and a true local's experience - Rah was amazing - such a great way to learn about a lesser known part of London, and connect with a local's experiences in that area.

Interesting Tour of Brixton and Stockwell - We enjoyed our tour with Rah around Brixton and Stockwell. He showed us the busy streets and fabulous buildings of Brixton and told us stories about the communities who have lived there recently, including those on the Windrush. We also looked at the artworks, murals and ghost signs dotted around in Brixton and went onto the station platform to see the sculptures. We heard lots of stories about people who lived or were born in the area, including the problems of homelessness. We then walked on to Stockwell, passing the mural of David Bowie. We looked at the station and war memorial and the murals on the walls of the deep level shelter. An enjoyable two hours where we learned a lot about the area.

Rah is also your go to person if you have any question about the history of transport within London. Unseen Tours sounds like a great organisation with an important mission. Brixton walk - Rah was a great guide, really friendly and lovely to talk to and clearly passionate about local history and the tours. My favourite part was hearing about the different communities and also about his personal story of homelessness. Some feedback would be perhaps starting the tour in a less busy place as Brixton station can be a bit overwhelming for a tourist, and also the walk to Stockwell felt a little far. Overall, a great company and mission that I’m glad to have supported and wish Rah the best of luck!
