- Just do this! Don't stop to think, make a booking. Seriously, one of the best experiences I've booked on a holiday. Obi loves Brixton and shares his love for the people, the place and the food in this walk around, with multiple stops to taste the wide variety of food on offer. You'd never find these place on your own!

Obi is the Best! - Obi was an incredible tour guide! His passion for the neighborhood’s history and culture really brought the experience to life. You can tell he’s deeply knowledgeable and truly connected to the community — everywhere we went, people knew and respected him. The food was absolutely delicious, and we left not only full, but also inspired and grateful to have supported so many local businesses in this historic market. This tour was the perfect mix of flavor, culture, and connection. Highly recommend!

History, Culture and Community! - Me and my son recently went on a guided tour exploring the history and culture of Black Brixton, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. There were about 10 of us in the group, which made it feel friendly and intimate. Our guide, Obi, was absolutely brilliant—he was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the deep, rich history of Brixton and its vibrant Black community, but also genuinely funny, keeping us engaged and laughing throughout. It felt like we were strolling through the neighborhood with a friend who knew every hidden gem and story. The tour was thoughtfully planned, with stops to sample goodies from local vendors that really brought the culture to life. We finished with a delicious meal at a Jamaican restaurant, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day. What stood out most was how welcome and cared for Obi made all of us feel. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time, while encouraging us to truly take in the sights, sounds, and spirit of Brixton. Highly recommend this tour to anyone curious about the incredible contributions of Black communities to London’s culture—and who wants to eat very well along the way!

Brixton - Don’t miss this tour! - Totally loved and enjoyed myself in this tour….We only had a couple days in London, but this was a great choice for one of those days. We had approximately 5 appetizers as we got a tour and history lesson on Brixton. Then we had a family style sit down dinner. All of the food was amazing, and the history of my people in this city was definitely.a lesson for me. Obi’s spirit and humbleness was the icing on the cake. 🙏🏽 for continued blessings for this entrepreneur. Don’t eat too much before, and you won’t need any food afterwards. You will be stuffed and satisfied! For those that cannot do a lot of walking, this tour is all within a few blocks, and Obi is thoughtful on getting shade on hot days.

Bridging the Gap - This is more than just a food tour! This is a history lesson, packed with the best storytelling I've ever experienced and the best food I've had in London. I am here on a solo trip, specifically a directed study abroad trip. I came here with the intention of learning more about the African diasporas by way of museums and their storytelling capabilities. However, by day 2, I knew I needed something different, and that is when I found this food tour! Obi does not know it, but by being on this tour, he's filled in so many gaps that my project had. I mean, this tour has made my trip to London everything and more!!! 10/10 Book this trip, and come hungry!

Exciting and delicious! - If you want to get to know London beyond Buckingham Palace and the Harry Potter Experience, you've come to the right place with Obi! An extremely exciting, entertaining and delicious tour! Obi's enthusiasm is infectious, you can feel how passionate he is about showing people ‘his’ Brixton. The food is varied and fantastically tasty, flavoursome, spicy, wonderful! Very, very highly recommended! Thank you so much, Obi!

“The Blackness, Keep, Keep On.” - If and/or when you are in London, you MUST experience this curated gem. There literally is no other tour in London solely centering and elevating Black London history, community, and cuisine all in one. Obi facilitates community and rapport with each guest, welcoming us like chosen family, and integrating connection to/with native Brixton market vendors. We engaged with Black owned fresh markets, restaurants, clothing, photography, and cosmetics establishments - actively contributing to London’s Wakanda. ✊🏾 As a solo traveler, I knew no one on the tour. Yet, by end, we all felt like chosen family and left with full stomachs, new knowledge, and understanding that we are all connected in building a present and future we can be proud of. I urge you, please experience this incredible journey.

More Than a Food Tour: A Heartfelt Journey Through Brixton - This tour was hands down one of the best I’ve ever been on. Obi was a knowledgeable and engaging storyteller with a fantastic sense of humor. His tour was about so much more than just food — he highlighted the rich historical narrative of the African and Caribbean experiences in Brixton and invited us to reflect on the future of these communities as well. I’ve never been on a tour where I genuinely loved every single sample I was given. He was thoughtful about the food choices, and we were able to try such a wide range of dishes in a short period of time. Another thing that stood out was how Obi created opportunities for the group to connect and get to know each other beyond the tour itself. It’s also clear that Obi does this work to amplify and celebrate the community he knows and loves so deeply. My favorite part was seeing him wave to and hug so many vendors, sharing bits of their own stories at Brixton Market. I highly recommend this tour — I’ll never forget it!
