Easy day trip to must visits near London - Easy & pleasant day trip all inclusive (except for lunch) no headache. Would recommend. Thanks to John & Oliver! Not too long or short. Bus seatings are comfy for a nap in between places.

The Roman Baths were very... - The Roman Baths were very interesting, but the bustling town full of shops and restaurants was a surprise. Stonehenge is totally amazing and pictures don’t do it justice. Armando, our bus driver, and Josh, our tour director were excellent.

Superb day - Very friendly and helpful staff. Oliver and kelvin made the day run smoothly. The visit to Bath was wonderful, we had three hours to explore the city and have lunch after the Roman Bath exhibit. Stonehenge was a one hour drive away. We had the opportunity to stay there two hours and enjoyed the time there as well. Overall, well organized and efficient. I would recommend this excursion to anyone.

It is a lot of travel... - It is a lot of travel time, including the London morning traffic. Be prepared. The Stonehenge visit fulfilled expectations. The Bath tour was very similar to sites we have seen in Rome, and if you are expecting differences because it is here in England, don’t. The service was very helpful, but the arrival instructions could be a little more clear in that the building is next to the Victoria Coach Station, but not attached. Overall, we are satisfied.

I have wanted to see Stonehenge my whole life. This trip was a big let down. - Tour is misrepresented on website and brochures. It is NOT guided. We were informed by our "guide" on ARRIVAL at Bath that "it used to be guided but we found most people like to do their own thing." Not me. We were left at the entrance to the baths and told to meet back there at 3.20pm, which turned out to be an hour later than we should have departed. This meant we had 4.25 hrs in Bath and only 1hr 20 mins at Stonehenge. In this 1hr 20mins we had to: walk from the GT coach to the entry (gift shop); wait for a shuttle bus; travel to the carpark at the stones; walk to the stones themselves; LOOK AT THE STONES; walk back to the carpark; wait for the shuttle bus; travel back to the gift shop; visit the gift shop. (Note: if you need a bottle of water, you have to go to the cafe next door which is separate to the gift shop) After this, we had to find our own way back to the coach from the gift shop as our "guide" was not there to meet us and in fact was already on the bus. We were not given a phone number to contact the guide. Calls to the "emergency number" on our entry passes (wrist bands) were answered by Golden Tours office who told us they had no way of contacting the guide or the bus driver. By the way, if you purchase the "tastecard" don't ask the guide where you can use it in Bath, because you will be told "all the information is on the website."
