After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon.
After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle.
Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

Tap Trip - This was a once in a lifetime experience. We were inside the volcano lava flow and also at the summit in the same day. Our guide was knowledgeable and amazingly friendly.

Fabulous - Great excursion. Our guide, Giuseppe, was very friendly. He knows all the secrets of Etna with its multiple craters. A real moment of happiness. I also enjoyed the experience, with helmet and lamp lent by the guide, of discovering a volcanic cave.

Very positive - I really liked the trip. Everything was well organized and we had great weather. The tour was particularly exciting because we learned a lot of new things. The atmosphere in the group was also very good.

Morning visit to inactive craters and lava cave - Very nice morning (8:30-15:00) visit of Etna. The Francophone guide, Giuseppe, was very friendly, explained everything and answered our questions. Pick up and drop off at the hotel. We booked this tour a week before the date (fortunately we were out of season), because another provider we booked more than a month earlier cancelled us a week before the date .. it was Go Etna. So we strongly recommend you to prefer Etna Est!

Worthwhile, informative trip - We recommend this tour. We stopped at three sites on Etna. Our guide told us all about Etna and made sure we were all comfortable with what we were doing. We went up to visit a crater, which was really interesting. My husband went into the lava cave. Thank you for the wine and almond biscuits.

Worth going! - Trip is filled with amazing views and a lot interesting facts about the volcano. Leonardo, our guide, is knowledgeable about Etna and Sicily region. He also has great driving skills.

Essential. - Must see if you are in the vicinity. Climb by easy car to the Sapienza shelter and then depending on the weather walk through the lower craters or cable car to the upper ones. In any case, you have to go up to Etna.

Excursion to icy Etna heights - Great experience! Were picked up from the hotel and drove to Mount Etna, there about an hour tour to a crater. Was not without it because it was very cold and windy. So don't forget warm robe and good footwear, incl. hat!! Was impressive anyway. In a lava cave we were equipped as well, with helmet and flashlight, and were served cantuccini and sweet wine there. The valley was unfortunately not possible to visit because the road was closed due to the weather. But it was also such a great half day with exciting impressions.
