Visit the filming locations of the current series of “All Creatures Great and Small,” including the Village of Grassington, which serves as Darrowby in the show. Journey through charming villages and scenic passes, soaking in the magnificent views. Make a stop at Bolton Castle, where Herriot proposed to his wife, a beloved spot of the author.

- Please note on the dates listed Castle Bolton will be closed to the public and therefore will not be visited on your tour. (6th June, 12th June, 27th June, 17th July, 26th July, 1st August, 22nd August, 11th September and 26th September 2026)
- Due to the nature of the out tours, we cannot wait for customers who arrive at their tour start point late. If you are late for your tour, our cancellation policy applies. 100% charges are applicable and you will not be entitled to a refund or alternative.
- Please note due to a prominent Bike race in the area on September 5th - the tour will follow a different route than we typically do. This will not affect your attractions or the length of your tour.
- Combined Tour: On selected departures, this tour shares a vehicle with guests travelling on our Yorkshire Dales tour. Both experiences explore the beautiful landscapes, villages and stories of the Yorkshire Dales, and the day is designed to be equally enjoyable whether or not you are familiar with the television series.

Please arrive for collection at Coach Stop A on Leeman Road opposite to the Memorial Gardens at 09:00.
The pick up is a 5 minute walk from the Railway Station.
Please arrive 5 minutes early as we are not able to wait for late passengers.

The Best! - This was an absolutely wonderful tour! Our guide was John and he was the best!! He made it fun and enjoyable with his knowledge of the highlands and area. It was something we had looked forward to and we were beyond pleased. We do think a large part of our experience was because of John. Thank you so much!

All Creatures Tour was better than we hoped! - As fans of the new All Creatures Great and Small series, we were not disappointed! When booking, we knew the weather could be questionable in this region and that seeing any actually filming would be highly unlikely. However, we were extremely fortunate with the weather and that not only were they filming but my husband and I came face-to-face with Siegfried! Our guide, Harry, was a wealth of regional and historical information. He was also accommodating and pleasant. Could not have hoped for a better experience!

Great Tour! - Our guide/driver was wonderfully informative and very entertaining! A comfortable coach was provided and our group of travelers was the perfect number for expediency and camaraderie. My wife Ida and I were able to see the most important sites of “All Creatures Great & Small’ plus more places of interest in the Yorkshire Dales area.

The Beautiful Dales - Wonderful tour through the Dales. John, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, and I loved learning about the history of the area. Even though it was rainy and we had a delay due to a flat tire, it was still a great time

Absolutely wonderful excursion into the Yorkshire Dales - This was a fabulous excursion into the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales! John, our guide was warm and funny and informative. My sisters and I absolutely loved the whole thing from start to finish.

Beauty of the Dales - Lovely day in the Yorkshire dales. In general, you drive for about 90 minutes than stop for about 1 hour.

Huge disappointment, not All Creatures Great and Small at all! - Hugely disappointing trip! I thought this would be an All Creatures Great and Small tour with stops at places recognisable from the tv series. Instead it is just a rebrand of their old Yorkshire Dales tour which is just a random tour around the area - I know because I went on that tour a few years ago. Clearly Mountain Goat have just jumped on the band-wagon and have just altered the name to make people think it is better than it is. A couple of stops were tenuously related to the series but really, it is a bit of a con to say it is All Creatures Great and Small.
I would say that if you want to do a tour about the series, look elsewhere, I wish we had!
