- Grand Canyon South Rim - Our biblical creation tours at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park feature numerous stops at the most stunning overlooks, offering a wealth of insightful teachings throughout the day. The itinerary below represents a “typical” route, concentrating on the park’s eastern side along Desert View Drive.
Due to varying weather conditions, seasonal changes, or visitor traffic in the park, we may include alternative stops beyond those listed below. Our tours are not “scripted,” allowing guides the flexibility to adapt to changes in the park and cater to the unique dynamics of your group.
Please note that our tour does not cover the entry fee to the Grand Canyon National Park, which can be paid at the gate or with a National Park Pass. The entry is valid for 7 days of unlimited access.
- Grand Canyon Visitor Center South Rim - Our tour begins at the flagpole just outside the Grand Canyon Visitor Center building inside the park at the designated start time.
- Yavapai Point - Starting near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, our first stop offers an introduction to the Grand Canyon and its geology.
We will establish the foundation for the rest of the tour by discussing the biblical events of the Flood as described in Genesis and the significance of what we will explore throughout our journey.
- Grandview Point - Discover the fascinating history of the Wild West at Grandview Point, with discussions on early mining activities, including copper extraction and tourism development during the early days of the Grand Canyon National Park.
Enjoy expansive views and the distant Colorado River as we discuss the canyon’s significance and whether the river has the power to carve and remove this material.
- Lipan Point - While enjoying breathtaking river views, including one of the canyon’s largest rapids, we will discuss the Native American Ancestral Puebloans who lived far below on the Unkar Delta.
At Lipan Point, we will also highlight the geological Great Unconformity, Cambrian Explosion, and the Tapeats Sandstone—all of which provide compelling observable evidence for a global Flood.
Learn about the mechanisms of the Flood from its onset and how we believe the sedimentary rock layers were deposited during this year-long catastrophic event of biblical proportions!
- Navajo Point - A significant amount of water, in a short period. Learn about the formation of the Grand Canyon through what we call the “lake spillover” or “breached dam” model, a concept first proposed in geology in the 1800s and still supported by both creation and some secular geologists today.
Look beyond the Grand Canyon to the distant Vermilion and Echo Cliffs of the Marble Platform and southeast to parts of the Painted Desert. Learn about the nearby historic Desert View Watchtower, completed in 1932.
- Moran Point - Conclude our tour with a stop at Moran Point, offering views of the river, rapids, and a stunning landscape before returning to the Visitor Center for drop-off.
- Grand Canyon Visitor Center South Rim - After the tour, our guide will return you to your vehicle at the Grand Canyon National Park Visitor Center or wherever you may have parked that day.
