The trail is easy and diverse, located in the mid-mountain region of the Sierra Nevada National & Nature Park. It is surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, offering incredible views of several three-thousanders and the entire Granada valley, topped by the summit of a notable 1,520m/5,000ft peak where the sunset can be admired.

This is not a fast-paced hike but rather a leisurely nature walk, suitable for families and those who are less “athletic.” HOWEVER, the optional climb to the summit does require some physical effort.

While a little rain won’t cancel the event, dangerous weather conditions (e.g., thunderstorms) would necessitate cancellation.
