Excelente intro to Food and life in Granada - Excellent food tour in Granada - we recommend doing it your 1st day so you have recommendations for the rest of your visit. We stopped at 3 places to sit down & eat and drink - with a nice selection of local foods cheese, sausage, fried eggplant with molasses, more cheese, Jamón Ibérico, tinto vino spritzer or Vermut, Tempranillo wine, choice of 3 different entrees, and a final stop at pastry shop where we had a Granada speciality pastry pudding that was made in honor of a visit by the Pope and Cava. We also stopped by two specialty shops one with sweets like Turrón with lots of samples to try and a spice shop that had an amazing supply of teas, herbs used as remedies from the Muslin culture, incense and assorted treats. We also learned about the history of gypsy migration and Flamenco dance in Granada before we attended a very good Flamenco performance with front row seats in an intimate local theater.
During the tour we were also given additional information on local traditions and recommendations for other activities and places to eat. We highly recommend!

Insightful, Fun, and Friendly – Molly’s the Best! - Molly was an incredible guide! She answered all our questions—not just about Granada, but about Spain as a whole. Her extensive travel experience and warm personality made her an absolute joy to talk with. We highly recommend booking a tour with her at the beginning of your trip—she shares great tips on must-see spots and fantastic local restaurants. And if you haven’t experienced a flamenco show yet, definitely include it in your plans—you won’t regret it!

Up there with the Alhambra....seriously! - An absolute must if you visit Granada. We did this on our last night but should have done this on our first night. Molly was fantastic guide and she really knows her stuff. You will go to some of the best tapas bars and shops in the city, and you will learn a lot. She will also give you great recommendations for the rest of your time not just in Granada but Andalusia. In addition, you get amazing seats for the Flamenco performance. Well worth the money and time.

A Night on the Town! - I’ve travelled a lot and taken more than a few “local” tours. This was far and away the best local experience I’ve ever had!
Could I have found tapas on my own? Of course, but left to my own devices I would have made comfortable choices and had just an okay experience. Our stops on the tour offered creative expressions of local foods, and I was glad I had the opportunity to sample and savor!
The flamenco show was a grand exhibition of dance, custom and music without the fancy stage dressing that tends to overwhelm some performances aimed at tourists.
I especially loved that this tour is small group. There were four of us and our host. Was like an evening out with friends, plus a charming and knowledgeable host who really made this fun and informative.
All in all an outstanding experience!
