Setting Sail on the Princess Grace

The sun was just beginning to cast its golden glow over Grace Bay as I made my way to the Ritz Carlton resort, eager to embark on a new adventure. The promise of a luxury catamaran experience aboard the Princess Grace had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, I’ve spent countless hours in the ocean, but there’s always something magical about exploring the underwater world from a different perspective.

Boarding the Princess Grace was like stepping into a dream. As we walked the paths in search of the island’s namesake reptiles, the crew served up a delicious lunch of jerk chicken, pasta salad, and veggies, all prepared by the Ritz Carlton. The open bar was a welcome addition, offering unlimited refreshments to quench our thirst.

With our bellies full and spirits lifted, we sailed to a calmer cove for another round of snorkeling. While the marine life here was sparse, the sighting of a couple of sea turtles made the experience worthwhile. Some guests took the opportunity to leap off the boat, performing backflips and somersaults into the inviting water. It was a carefree moment that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of island life.
