• 492H+33G - Hello, I’m Katerina! A native of Naxos, I have spent the last five years sharing my island’s charm through olive oil, cuisine, and everyday traditions. In my newly established workshop located in the heart of Naxos Town, I welcome small, intimate groups for a tasting and baking experience that is warm, relaxed, and authentically local.

We start with a friendly introduction to extra virgin olive oil. What qualifies an oil as truly “extra virgin”? How can one identify genuine aromas and flavors? Is it suitable for cooking? Together, we explore these questions while sampling various Naxian oils, learning simple techniques, and discovering how locals pair olive oil with herbs and food.

Next, we delve into baking. We create a traditional bread using a family recipe handed down from my great-grandmother to my grandmother and then to me. It’s straightforward and filled with the scents and memories of my upbringing.

With small groups, the experience is personal. It feels more like spending time with a local than attending a large class. By the end, you’ll have tasted Naxos in the most genuine way!
