A different perspective of Port Elizabeth - It was not quite what I thought it would be, (very tame) BUT guides were very knowledgeable. A lovely family business.

Simply superb - My wife and i took this trip from our cruise ship. Communication beforehand was excellent. And on the day Carlin was a wonderfully kind and likeable guide. We were with two other Cruise passengers in a 6/7 seater car, so there was plenty of space. And Carlin's lovely Dad had 4 other guests in his similar car. We all took the tour together in the 2 cars and it was superb. The sand dunes were the highlight for me. But it was all good.

Coast, Lighthouse and Penguin Station - We would be picked up on time at the cruise port. Our guide was very friendly, had an extensive knowledge and also provided us with his WiFi.

Port Elizabeth tour - Carlin picked us up at our Cruise ship for our personal tour for two of the coast of Port Elizabeth. He was very knowledgeable and took us to some interesting areas along the coast, including a lighthouse and a Penguin rescue centre, which was fascinating and carries out essential work to save the Cape Penguins (an endangered species) The tour ended back at the ship and despite the rain we had a really good time. The trip was very keenly priced too!

Educational tour enhanced bu guide Lester - The tour was very interesting and educational, especially SANCCOB, a seabirds rehabilitation centre. Lester the tour guide was excellent.

Recommended excursion - The tour took us into nature around Port Elisabeth. Carlin, our guide, has told us all sorts of things about the country and people, about the different sights, gong on questions we wishes. He was a super guide, well-positioned, good-humored, communicative. The tour was very worthwhile and Carlin is highly recommended. We were picked up at the cruise terminal and brought back again.

Pick up a penguin - A short trip around Port Elizabeth, we particularly enjoyed seeing the sand dunes, the lighthouse and the visit to the penguin sanctuary where we adopted a one footed penguin we named Alex. Hopefully he/she will be returned to the wild when fully recovered from the injuries they are treating. You receive a certificate and photograph by email and will be updated to the birds progress. Carlin was polite and the car was clean and comfortable.

Not as interesting as described - Our guide was about 45 minutes late to pick us up. There was 10 of us from the same cruise ship and the result was returning late and missing an event onboard. One of the stops was at a small lookout, the site of a shipwreck several years ago and there was an old cannon salvaged from the wreck. There was a story about the survivors but I think that could have been skipped and would have preferred more time at the dunes and beach. The penguin rescue centre was a bit interesting but there seemed to be a bit of a push to adopt a penguin. I was expecting to do some walking in the nature reserve.

Dissapointed - Abolutely no local or location information - Locations were great however driver showed up 10 mins late and insisted he wasn't late we were early. The driver was supposed to be a "professional guide" - NOT! Provided no narrative as we drove from location to location - did not provide any location information upon arrival at each location. Air conditioning was 2/70 - 2 windows opened driving at 70 kmph. At two locations he asked how long we wanted to stay - as there was 10 passengers he got 10 different answers. Prior to the start one passenger was told to make sure he tipped the driver well! On the way back to the cruise terminal entrance the driver was asked if he could drop us at the Mall - he said he would however he drove right to the dock entrance anyway. There was a heated discussion between the "owner" and some of the passengers. Disappointing as the tour locations were good!
