Experience a River Cruise on the Sundays River, a distinctive way to uncover why it’s known as “Africa’s Best Kept Secret.”
The tour takes you to the river mouth and stops at the Alexandria dune fields, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Sundays River is a haven for bird watchers, boasting a rich variety of bird species. Enjoy a 1.5-hour cruise along the river.
In the second half of the tour, observe wildlife in their natural environment during a guided self-drive tour at Kragga Kamma Game Park. Although smaller at 203 hectares compared to other African parks, it is teeming with diverse species, including three of the Big Five: Lion, Buffalo, and White Rhino. For lunch, there will be a stop at the renowned Nanaga Farm Stall for a roosterkoek (a type of roll unique to South Africa, grilled and slightly charred) or a homemade pie, along with a drink of your choice (homemade pineapple juice is highly recommended) and some biltong.
