Best marine tour ever - The best marine tour we have ever done, and we have done a few. Having had a brief introduction to the ethos of the company we were split into 2 small groups and taken down to the boats. They try to keep the numbers small on the boats, on ours there were 3 crew members and 18 passengers, and there was plenty of seating including some under cover for us all. For the brave there was also the opportunity to stand on top of the cabin with the crew member spotting the marine life. After a safety briefing we headed out into Algoa bay, running parallel with the beach in the hope of seeing dolphin, on this day there were none there so we then turned across the bay and came across a flock of gannets feeding. The crew explained all about their feeding and breeding habits and it was fascinating to watch the feeding frenzy with the birds completely oblivious to the boat. As we were watching the gannets a couple of dolphins surfaced near the boat, heading into the bay. Both boats keep in contact with each other and our Captain was informed a large pod of dolphin were in the bay, followed by a right whale, so we set off to see if we could find them, and find them we did. This was a pod of common dolphin following fish into the bay to feed on and possibly in a pod of over 1000 dolphin. The Captain stopped the boat and we were sitting in a boiling sea of dolphin, too many to count and surfacing all around the boat. We were told the Southern Right whale was still following them, and it surfaced right next to our boat before continuing on its way. It was a magical experience to sit on the ocean completely surrounded by dolphin, something I will remember for the rest of my life. After about 10 mins just watching the dolphin it was time to head to St Criox to seethe African Penguins and Indo-pacific bottlenose dolphins that live in the rough waters around the Island. The history of the island was explained to us on the way and once again we were able to see the dolphin from a close range. Going into some slack water we were able to get close to the penguins on the rocks without disturbing them. Before heading back we were offered a cheese, cheesy roll and then it was a fast ride back to the dock to disembark.

Wonderful experience for sure - What an amazing company to honor on the ocean/bay with. Keith and Jack were very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all our questions before hand, gave very specific directions and instructions and eased those in the group that were a little nervous. The views are amazing, we saw plenty of dolphins, birds, penguins and more. Focused on conservation and keeping our oceans clean and safe from Human destruction. I highly recommend this for locals and tourists

Sensational whale and penguin watching tour - This was the best whale watching we have ever done, even compared to tours in Canada. We saw different species of whales that are usually found in the bay at other times of year or tend to stay in the open sea. These were mainly different species of dolphins, but also – rather unexpectedly – orcas. The tour was very well organized, especially the excellent organisational service provided by Karen. A few days before the tour, Karen offered to move the tour forward by one day due to the wind forecast. I did so, and it made the tour even better. Our guide/skipper Jake is simply unbeatable. Again: this was our best whale watching experience ever. Everything was perfect.

Tour perfect, ride there unfortunately pure rip-off - The tour on the water was really lovely, have seen a whale, the penguins and can take a lot of beautiful pictures with dolphins. What's really a shame is the rip-off by taxi. You drive 800 meters and pay 18 euros per person.
