• Dinosauria Park - Dinosauria Park is situated in GOURNES on the Old US Base. The park’s facilities feature over 50 different species of dinosaurs, along with statues and robotic exhibits, guiding visitors from the present to the prehistoric era and the awe-inspiring world of dinosaurs. As visitors explore the park, they will encounter the fossil museum, the time machine, the dinosaur hospital, and special excavation sites. Additionally, visitors can enjoy augmented reality films in the specially designed 5D Cinema and simulators with VR masks. There is also a large, outdoor certified (TUV) playground for more relaxed moments, as well as a well-organized snack bar/restaurant. • Greek Mythology Thematic Park - THE MOST FAMOUS MYTHS
  In the park, visitors will discover the ancient Greek myths. The special lighting and sound effects, combined with the audio tour, make the park tour highly enjoyable, even for young children. Visitors feel as though they are journeying from the dark tunnels of the labyrinth to the radiant Greek temples.
  Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about four eras of Greek history and myths.
  Beginning with the Minoans and ancient Athens, progressing to Byzantium, and concluding with the folklore traditions of the Lassithi Plateau in the late 1960s.
• Cave of Diktaion Andron - The adventure begins at the mythological Cave of Zeus on the Lassithi Plateau. According to legend, this is where Zeus was born, and it was once a sacred place of worship in ancient times. Today, visitors can explore its expansive chambers and admire the stalactites and stalagmites with a guide. This is a fantastic experience for both young and old, leaving a lasting impression long after the visit.
• Lasinthos Eco Park - A haven of nature and Cretan Tradition
  Lasinthos offers a variety of interactive activities and attractions. The park’s primary aim is to revive the techniques of Cretan traditional art. Around a picturesque square, visitors can find spots where artisans share their knowledge and skills. Guests can observe artisans, who enjoy imparting their expertise, crafting traditional woven items, clay pots, and more. Visitors will also have the chance to taste olive oil, Cretan wine, and “raki” – the traditional spirit of Crete. The entire visit combines culture and taste, fun, action, and enjoyment.
• Tzermiado - Delight in lunch at one of the finest local taverns at Lasithi Plateau, featuring a four-course meal with exquisite local delicacies and wine.
• Krasi - In the Megali Vryssi square in the village of Krasi, province Pediada, near Malia, stand three plane trees, the village’s iconic landmarks. The most significant of these is the grand platan in the center of the square, considered the oldest and most majestic of the plane trees in Crete and among the oldest in Greece.
  The trunk’s perimeter measures approximately 24 meters, and its age is estimated at 2,400 years, with each meter of the perimeter representing 100 years of growth. It is massive, with large branches and dense foliage covering the entire square. Adjacent to the tree are two springs that provide crystal-clear water year-round.
  Throughout its long history, the plane tree has witnessed countless events. It was the hub of social and intellectual life in the area. It is known that Nikos Kazantzakis, Greece’s most famous writer, spent several summers during the decade 1910-1920 with his friends in Krasi, the birthplace of his wife Galatia Alexiou.
