This private tour offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji, a sight that is sure to leave you in awe. As you explore the serene Lake Kawaguchiko, the stunning contrast of white clouds, the blue lake, and green mountains creates a picturesque vista that is quintessentially Japanese. The tour also includes a visit to the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Fuji Five Lakes area. A recent review from February 19, 2025, highlights the tour’s ability to offer a comfortable and enriching experience:
Great private car trip to Mt Fuji and Hakone! Aryana picked us up on time at the hotel. Once we got going we talked about our itinerary and what we wanted to see. We switched up the itinerary to go to Chureito Pagoda and Lake Kawaguchiko and Aryana made it work to make sure we got to see it and to stick to the itinerary to see the other spots. Our trip included stops at Chureito Pogoda, Lake Kawaguchiko, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Shrine, Lake Ashi on the pirate boat (ropeway was closed) and Hakone Open Air Museum. We lucked out with a clear day and saw Fuji in all its glory. This tour was great to be able to see lots of things in the comfort of a private van. Aryana gave us little bits of history of each place then allotted us our time at each stop. Overall it was a wonderful day! (Reviewed at: 2025-02-19)
Embracing the Serenity of Hakone
On May 4th, as the skies clear and temperatures rise to a pleasant 70°F, embark on the Hakone Tour from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This exclusive tour takes you through the scenic beauty of Hakone, renowned for its hot springs and stunning views of Mount Fuji from Lake Ashinoko. The tour includes a visit to the Hakone Open-Air Museum, where art and nature blend seamlessly, offering a unique cultural experience.
The Hakone Shrine, a 1260-year-old spiritual site, is another highlight of the tour. Known for its divine benefits, the shrine is a place of peace and reflection. As you wander through the serene surroundings, you’ll feel a deep connection to the spiritual energy that has drawn visitors for centuries. A review from January 13, 2025, captures the essence of this experience:
This was a great way to visit Hakone and see the sights if you are not planning on staying there for several days. Abdul, our driver, picked us up on time at our hotel…in fact, he was early! We made our way to the shrine and walked around a bit. Since we were there during the New Year’s Holiday, there were many people in line to get an up-close view of the shrine. There were many vendors there selling all kinds of food and souvenirs. We then left for Lake Ashi where we boarded the pirate ship. The ship had plenty of snacks and beverages available for purchase. We opted to sit in the first class section to have a bit more space. We had excellent views of Mt. Fuji while we were on the ship. We then rode the Hakone Ropeway to the upper level. We did eat the black eggs along with many of the other visitors. We were told it would add seven years to our lives if we ate one. Abdul then took us to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. This was, by far, my favorite part of the day. The grounds of the museum are incredible! There are sculptures everywhere! You could easily spend the day here. There is also a Picasso exhibit that has more than 300 original pieces. We then went to the Gotemba Premium Outlets. This was the low point of the tour. Since it was the New Year’s Holiday, cars could not move along the street, the parking lot, or the parking garages. We left Abdul in the car and walked about 1 km to get to the mall. Once we were there, there were so many people. We met back with Abdul, after a quick visit to the outlets, and he drove us back to Tokyo. (Reviewed at: 2025-01-13)
