Soti Khola - Maccha Khola [900m/2952 ft]: 6 - 7 hours
Soti Khola - At the bridge crossing, the trek leads through beautiful Sal forests, then ascends to a ridge above the Budhi Gandaki’s large rapids. The trail reaches Khursane, where it winds up and down past two tropical waterfalls on a steep, rocky path clinging to a cliffside. It eventually descends past a few rice terraces, then ascends to the Gurung village of Labubesi. The path continues behind a rocky outcrop, where the valley opens and the Budhi Gandaki meanders among wide gravel bars. Descending to the sandy riverbed, the trail follows rounded stones before climbing over a side ridge. The path descends again to the river and crosses another suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola village. Overnight in Machha Khola.
Maccha Khola - Jagat [1410m/4625 ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
Jagat - The narrow trail has some minor ups and downs and eventually crosses the Tharo Khola, reaching Khorlabesi. After a few more ascents and descents, a small hot spring is encountered in Tatopani. From the hot spring, the trail climbs over another ridge, then crosses the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge. At this point, the path ascends a wide, well-made staircase, crosses a landslide, and climbs to Dobhan. After crossing the Yaru Khola, the trail ascends stone stairs, descends to the river, and ascends more stone stairs to Tharo Bharyang. Crossing to the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki, the trail climbs over a ridge, follows the river, and ascends to the village of Jagat. Overnight in Jagat.
Jagat - Deng [1,804m/5917 ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
Jagat - The trek begins by climbing over a rocky ridge to Salleri, then descending to Sirdibas. The valley widens slightly as the trail continues up to Ghatta Khola. The path continues upstream to a long suspension bridge in Philim, a large Gurung village. The trail turns north just above the lowest house in the village and follows a fairly level path across millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. The route now enters a steep, uninhabited gorge. Here, the trail descends to grassy slopes, crosses the Budhi Gandaki, follows the west bank for a while, then crosses to the east bank and back again. As the trail continues, the valley widens, passing through bamboo forests to the Deng Khola. After crossing the Khola, the trail reaches the small village of Deng. Overnight in Deng.
Deng - Namrung [2630m/8626ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
Namrung - After a short walk past Deng, the trail crosses the Budhi Gandaki and ascends to Rana at 1910m. From the bridge, the path climbs slightly to join a trail from Bhi, then heads west up the Budhi Gandaki valley. The trail passes through forests and mani walls, turning towards a corner that leads to Ghap. Although there is another route, the path through Prok village is taken. Prok village offers a view of the stunning Siringi Himal. The trail crosses the Budi Gandaki several times today and passes several gompas along the way. The path follows the river upstream through a dense forest. After crossing the river at a dramatic spot where it thunders down a narrow gorge, the forest becomes less dense and the trail improves. The pleasant walk continues, and after the final steep climb, Namrung is reached. Overnight in Namrung.

The path leads through rhododendron forest and follows a trail through a narrow valley until reaching the highest cultivated land of the valley at Karche, 2785 meters. The trail crosses fields before making a steep climb over a ridge. The path descends from the ridge in a wide, sweeping arc to the riverbank at 2580m. A short distance beyond is the village of Gho. Due to the previous day’s fatigue, an overnight rest may be taken at Gho, but better accommodations are available at Tilije, so Info Trekking Nepal recommends staying at Tilije. The Manaslu area, situated in Nepal, is a prime trekking locale that encapsulates the vibrant high-altitude lifestyles of the Nepalese in one extraordinary journey. The Tsum Valley Trek and the Manaslu Circuit Trek are two sought-after packages for this expedition. The Tsum Valley route introduces travelers to the enigmatic Tsum valley, also known as the concealed basin. Historically, this secluded valley served as a secure sanctuary during times of war and famine. Owing to its geographical positioning, terrain, and the natives’ way of life, the area often garners comparisons with a smaller version of Tibet.
