• Ten Thousand Islands NWR - The 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge, located next to Everglades National Park, is only accessible by boat. This tour, guided by an expert sheller and certified master naturalist, is limited to six participants and will take you to a secluded barrier island within the Refuge. While popular barrier islands like Sanibel or Captiva are known for excellent shelling, these islands often have untouched beaches.

Not only will you enjoy exceptional shelling in a remote setting, but you’ll also have the chance to see dolphins, possibly sea turtles or manatees, and a variety of birds such as ospreys, eagles, roseate spoonbills, pelicans, and more during your journey to the island.

While shelling, you’ll learn about the intricacies of tides and currents and their impact on marine life. Your captain and guide can turn your tour into an educational family experience.
