Gyeongbokgung Palace - Begin the Seoul City tour at the stunning Gyeongbokgung Palace, a prime example of the Joseon Dynasty’s architecture, over 500 years old. Following this, explore the National Folk Museum to gain insights into Korea’s unique culture and historical lifestyle. Enjoy a brief stop to witness the Traditional Royal Guard Changing Ceremony and view the Presidential Blue House before heading to the renowned Bukchon Hanok Village.
Bukchon Hanok Village - Nestled between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace, and Jongmyo Royal Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is a traditional Korean village with a rich history. The village, with its many alleys and hanok, is preserved to showcase a 600-year-old urban environment. Enjoy a guided walk and admire the beautiful traditional homes.
Dongdaemun Market - Conclude the day with leisure time at Dongdaemun Market, the largest open market in the Orient. This vast commercial district, surrounding the Dongdaemun Gate, is Korea’s largest wholesale and retail shopping area, featuring 26 shopping malls, 30,000 specialty shops, and 50,000 manufacturers. Return to your accommodation to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Seoul - DMZ - Suwon
DMZ - Today’s tour highlight is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
Note: A passport is required for ID verification.
Situated along the 38th parallel, this notable border was established in 1953 at the signing of the Panmunjom armistice to separate North and South Korea. Upon arrival, proceed through passport security control, followed by a brief introduction at the United Nations camp.
Visit Dora Observatory and Dorasan railway station. Explore Imjingak Park, featuring the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge, and the Bell of Unification. Later in the morning, visit the 3rd tunnel, dug 73 meters deep into the rock, capable of moving a full division per hour with their weapons.
Museum Kimchikan - Participate in a cooking class to prepare Korea’s staple dish, Kimchi. During the class, there will be an opportunity to take photos in the traditional Korean outfit, Hanbok.
Suwon - Transfer to Suwon for dinner at a local restaurant, followed by hotel check-in.
Suwon - Gayasan National Park - Temple Stay
Hwaseong - Visit Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a masterpiece of Korean traditional architecture and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Haenggung, meaning detached palace, was built within Hwaseong’s walls to accommodate King Jeongjo when away from his Seoul palace. When not in use by the king, it served as a government base for his officials. Constructed in 1789 and expanded between 1794 and 1796, it became Korea’s largest haenggung with 600 compartments.
Haeinsa Temple - After lunch, transfer to Haeinsa Temple, built in 802 by two monks and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. It houses the Tripitaka Koreana, with 80,000 printing plates of Buddhist scriptures, 15 national treasures, and around 200 private treasures. Experience an unforgettable temple stay, including Buddhist ceremony meals, Zen meditation introduction, and a tea ceremony. Enjoy a vegetarian dinner and overnight stay at the temple.

Gyeongju - Known as the Historical City, Gyeongju is a museum without walls, with World Heritages designated by UNESCO.
Yangdong Folk Village - Transfer to Gyeongju and visit Yangdong Village, Korea’s largest traditional village, showcasing the Joseon Dynasty’s culture and beautiful natural surroundings. The village, rich in cultural heritages, including treasures and folklore materials, is a designated cultural heritage site. Many visitors, including Charles, Prince of Wales in 1993, have admired its cultural wealth and scenic beauty.
Gyeongju
Gyeongju - Begin the city tour with Gyeongju Historic Areas, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. These areas include temple and palace ruins, outdoor pagodas, statuary, and other cultural artifacts from the Silla Kingdom, making it one of the largest outdoor museums globally.
Bulguksa Temple - Bulguksa Temple is a significant relic of Buddhist culture from the Silla kingdom. Built during King Beopheung’s reign (514-540) to wish for peace and prosperity, it was rebuilt in 751 by Kim Dae-seong. Unfortunately, it was damaged by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598) and suffered further damage and theft afterward.
Since 1920, the temple has undergone continuous restoration. It now holds seven national treasures and numerous important heritages, and was designated a World Cultural Heritage Site along with the nearby Seokguram Grotto by UNESCO in December 1995.
Seokguram - Constructed by Kim Dae-Seong during King Gyeong-Deok’s reign (742-765) of the Silla Kingdom, Seokguram Grotto is located 3 kilometers by hiking trail and 9 kilometers by car from Bulguksa Temple. The grotto, harmoniously designed with the seated Buddha facing the East Sea, is a valuable cultural heritage preserved and registered as a UNESCO World Heritage on December 6, 1995.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb features a wooden coffin inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, typical of Silla period upper-class tombs. The mound is 12.7 m high with a 50 m diameter, consisting of stream-collected rocks. Beneath the rock layer is a 6.5 m long, 2.1 m wide wooden chamber, 2.1 m high, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts, including Cheonmado, Korea’s first artwork excavated from an ancient tomb, were discovered.
Gyeongju - Busan
Busan - Depart for the airport and fly to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city after Seoul, and the largest port city in South Korea, ranking as the world’s fifth busiest seaport by cargo tonnage.
Yongdusan Park - Named Yongdusan because the mountain resembles a dragon’s head emerging from the sea.
Busan Tower - Visit Busan Tower, a 120-meter tower offering a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Busan, including islands and ships in the distant seas.
Nurimaru APAC House - Visit the APEC House, an APEC conference hall, symbolizing a gathering place for world summits during APEC meetings.
Haeundae Beach - Haeundae Beach is Busan’s most famous beach. The white sand beach stretches 1.5 kilometers long, over a 30- to 50-meter wide area, creating a stunning coastline before a shallow bay, ideal for swimming.
Haeundae Beach attracts visitors every summer. The area offers a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to private guesthouses, making it a perfect summer vacation spot. The beach is also known for various cultural events and festivals throughout the year. Nearby facilities include Dongbaekseom Island, Busan Aquarium, a yachting dock, BEXCO, driving courses, and more.
Busan - KTX Train to ICN Airport
Busan - After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at Nampodong Shopping Street. Lunch is at your own discretion.
Transfer to Busan station for the KTX Bullet Train to Incheon Airport. The KTX-Sancheon, South Korea’s second commercial high-speed train and the first domestically designed and developed high-speed train, reaches a top speed of 320 km/h (190 mph).
Arrive in Seoul and transfer to ICN International Airport.
