A Journey to the Roof of Africa

The Simien Mountains have long been on my bucket list, a place where the earth seems to touch the sky, and the wildlife thrives in its natural habitat. As a wildlife photographer, the allure of capturing the endemic Gelada baboons in their natural environment was irresistible. The drive from Gondar to Debark, the gateway to the Simien Mountains National Park, was a journey through time.
