Great tour and walking - The location for the tour itself was great. The tour guide was enthusiastic and enjoyed his role. Driving was smooth and the afternoon half day tour was worth the price. A great experience!

Simple yet lovely! - My friend and I wanted to get out of the city and see some of the beautiful countryside. This tour delivered! We enjoyed the beautiful drive and walk around the lakes in Glendalough. We also enjoyed the history lesson that was given by our tour guide Aidan. It was the perfect amount of time (5 hours) for our short trip to Dublin. Bring good walking shoes and be prepared for rain. We checked the weather the day before to decide if we wanted to do the morning tour or afternoon tour. Thankfully we chose correctly because our guide said it was pouring rain in the morning and we got lucky with perfect weather in the afternoon!

Walk back into time very spiritual - Refresh to body and mind.. the site is a glimpse into the monastic world. The spiritual life was not for the weak or faint of heart!

Nice scenery close to Dublin - Was fortunate to do afternoon Glendalough tour as weather was dry after morning rain. Upper lake was impressive. Informative tour guide.

Great afternoon - For autumn/winter months 1.5 hours at the lakes area is too long. The centre is closed and the only refreshments are outdoors. Otherwise great. Our driver was extremely informative.

3/5 stars - Beautiful scenery but the pickup location was incorrect. We almost missed our bus due to the wrong location for pickup. You do not have much time once you arrive to view all of the sites so be sure to keep track of the time. The restrooms closed an hour early so we missed those as well.

I think we should have done the full day tour - Glendalough was great, but there was a lot of travel to spend the time there, and we didn't see as much else along the way as I had hoped. I think the full day tour would have been a better choice.

Bad Directions - I booked this trip twice and waited at the bus stop that the Driver sent me and no one ever showed up either time. There was no mention either of what logo would be on the bus or the color. The directions are not clear.

Horrible experience and lack of communication - Terrible experience. Don’t waste your time. We had a tour booked weeks in advance, I showed up to the pickup location I was provided and then told it had changed to a spot about 0.3 miles away. So we walked there, I got an email at 1:28pm (pickup was 1:30pm) stating the pickup location and time had changed. The bus pulled up to the original location and I did not go to board it because I had just been told by the staff and the email that that was no longer the pickup spot. I assumed it was for a different tour and there were multiple buses for this company. Apparently I was incorrect and missed the bus. The staff have refused to refund us even thought it was a miscommunication on their part. They also accused us of lying and saying that the bus did stop where we were, when it did not. There was another group who also missed the bus for the same reason as us. We were all refused refunds. Book with wild rover, they were great
