Best and Easiest Way to See Glasgow! - I took the hop on hop tour off Sunday, March 1st, 2026. The weather was drizzly and gloomy, and it was nice to be warm and covered on a bus :) I really, really enjoyed it. The earbuds were easy to use and the information about each location was fantastic! I really feel as though I learned so much about Glasgow all from the comfort of my toasty bus seat. I hopped off at the Glasgow Necropolis, took some photos, hit up the St. Mungo Religion Museum and them hopped back on. It was so convenient! It travels a pretty wide circle around Glasgow as well, so it picked me up right near my hotel and dropped me off back at the same spot. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you are new to Glasgow. There's 21 stops, so it's fun whether you stay on the whole loop, or hop on and off to further investigate.

Easy way to discover Glasgow - Excellent experience - stop right outside of the Hilton Garden Hotel. This service enabled me to discover Glasgow with ease. Drivers were friendly and helpful. Buses were consistently punctual. Would definitely travel with City Sightseeing, Glasgow again.

Brilliant way to see Glasgow - Did the Glasgow bus tour with friends! Would highly recommend. Great fun. Was a great way to see the city and all the great places the city has to offer. Make sure you book a live interactive speaker as they give you lots of funny stories. Thank you Donna for the wonderful tour.

Great fun and very informative - We were lucky enough to get on the guided tour. Mark was our driver and Craig was the tour guide. They were both lovely, friendly and hilarious. Would highly recommend!

Perfect way to see the city! - What a great way to see this incredible city - and with the rainy weather, even better. We were fortunate to have a wonderful narrator who gave really insightful and informative facts about the architecture and more!

Fabulous Staff and a great tour - The bus tour of Glasgow is great and the staff are fabulous. We were 3 friends visiting from Canada and 1 left their phone wallet with credit cards on a tour bus. I called in a panic and spoke to the customer service contact Michaela. She helped piece together what bus we were on, organized us to meet the bus arriving back at George Square at the end of the circuit. She tracked the bus and contacted the driver Aidan. We were waiting at George Square when the bus arrived, unbelievable Aidan had the phone and all was well. They went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Michaela and Aidan you are a credit to City Sightseeing Glasgow. We are so grateful for your help.

Fantastic option to visit the sites - The regularity of the service is fantastic. All the literature and timetables are readily available. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the access it provides to all the key attractions is great.

Great live tour guide - Really enjoyed a full tour with their live guide Jim and the driver Bill. Having an informative and funny live guide is so much better when doing one of these city tours.

Exactly What It Says - Self explanatory. You Hop On at whatever stop you choose. You take a mid-speed trip around the city while a live tour guide tells you about the local sites. You can Hop Off at any of the 20 something stops to explore and Hop back On whenever you choose(will be a bus at a stop every half hour). Good way to get an overview of the city and learn about the locale. Had to remove one star because it was very difficult to interpret the map they have on their site to figure out where the actual stops are.

Very disappointing... - It starts with the desire to take this tour bus at stop n 1 Georges Square, not possible because due to work it is moved and it is not indicated anywhere so we went to stop n 2 Glasgow Cathedral. After getting off at Riverside Museum we went to stop n15 at least at the stop that the driver let us out and after 1 hour we wanted to take the bus back to that same stop but the driver of this bus did not let us on because it was not an official stop!!! So we went to the next stop n16 and we were able to continue to stop 1 at least a shifted number 1 without being able to continue where we wanted because unfortunately it was 16:40 and the driver told us it was over for that day! Basically we walked more often than took this bus and the drivers for some do not respect the red lights, one of the drivers had grilled 3 not counting the climbs on pavements with the rear wheels that shake you properly!!! In short, very bad experience for me while in other cities it usually goes very well! For my part never again the city tour of Glasgow. Next time we will keep our 4x20£ and go for a beer instead!
