Giza: Guided Day Tour to (Giza Pyramids & Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis)

Pyramids of Giza - After breakfast, begin your day with a friendly guide at the Giza Plateau. Upon arrival, your Egyptology guide will introduce you to the renowned Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.

Great Sphinx - Admire the Great Sphinx statue and visit the Valley Temple, part of the same ancient complex. Discover the burial customs of the pharaohs.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The tour continues to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at the intriguing Saqqara archaeological site. Constructed around 2630 BC, this pyramid is the world’s oldest significant stone structure.

Mit Rahina Museum - Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. As a cultural hub for over 3,000 years, Memphis is home to remarkable ancient sites.

Cairo - Later, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Giza Hotel (Private room with Breakfast), likely a Pyramid View Room if available.

Guided Day Tour to Coptic & Islamic Cairo, Egyptian Museum + Overnight Train to Luxor

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - After breakfast, your friendly guide will pick you up for a spiritual day tour of Cairo’s Islamic and Coptic sites. First, visit Salah El Din Citadel, where the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and Al Gowhara Palace, built by Mamluks and Ottomans, are located.

Coptic Cairo - Continue to Old Cairo to explore the Roman fortress, the Hanging Church (Al Mo’allaka Church), and St. Sergio’s, which sheltered the holy family. Conclude your tour at the famous Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Proceed to downtown Cairo to visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, where you can also explore Tutankhamen’s tombs.

Cairo - In the evening, transfer to Cairo train station for the overnight seated train to Luxor. (The train can be replaced by a VIP bus at no extra cost or upgraded to a sleeper train for an additional 80 USD per person in a Twin Cabin, including Dinner and Breakfast.)

Arrive in Luxor & Visit Luxor East Bank

Luxor - Arrive at Luxor train station early in the morning and be transferred to your hotel.

Temple of Karnak - Begin your afternoon tour with a friendly guide to visit Karnak Temple. The Karnak Temple complex is notable for its exceptional examples of ancient Egyptian design and architecture, including the Hypostyle Hall, one of the world’s greatest architectural achievements, and the Temple of Amun, a magnificent forest of giant papyrus-shaped columns.

Luxor Temple - Continue to Luxor Temple, constructed by various kings during ancient Egyptian times.

Luxor - Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor. Overnight in Luxor Hotel (Private room), a 4-star hotel with Breakfast.

Visit Luxor West Bank + Overnight Train Back to Cairo

Valley of the Kings - Begin your tour with a friendly guide to visit the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the Valley of the Kings, which contains 66 tombs.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your tour with a visit to the Memnon statues.

Luxor - In the evening, transfer to Luxor train station for the overnight seated train back to Cairo. (The train can be replaced by a VIP bus at no extra cost or upgraded to a sleeper train for an additional 80 USD per person in a Twin Cabin, including Dinner and Breakfast.)
