• Pyramids of Giza - Tours commence anytime between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm, starting with a pickup from Cairo airport by a local tour guide holding a sign with your name. You’ll be transferred in a private air-conditioned limousine to Giza City, where you’ll visit the renowned Giza Pyramids. Explore the Great Pyramid of King Cheops and the Middle Pyramid of King Chephren. There is an option to enter the pyramids, which requires additional tickets that can be purchased on-site with assistance from your guide. • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents, such as the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well by Mariette in 1860, and others during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.

• Great Sphinx - Observe the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex.
