Pyramids of Giza - A representative will collect guests from their hotel in Marsa Alam using a private, air-conditioned modern vehicle to transport them to Hurghada Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, an Egyptologist guide will meet and accompany them to explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.

Great Sphinx - The tour continues with a visit to the Great Sphinx, featuring the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, dating back to the era of Chephren. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with a human head and a lion’s body. It faces directly from west to east and is located on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The Sphinx’s face is believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre.

Giza Necropolis - The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramid of Chephren. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The Valley Temple of Khafre in Giza is attributed to King Khafre, a ruler of the 4th Dynasty.

Step Pyramid of Djoser - The journey continues to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Guests will then be transferred to their hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Day 02: Cairo Tours/ Back to Marsa Alam

After breakfast at the hotel, guests will enjoy an excursion to the Egyptian Museum, which showcases artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum houses a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian artifacts globally, with over 250,000 genuine artifacts on display.

Cairo Citadel - Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo, followed by a visit to the Salah el-Din Citadel. The Citadel of Cairo, or Citadel of Saladin, is a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt, constructed by Salah ad-Din (Saladin) and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers. It served as the seat of government in Egypt and the residence of its rulers for nearly 700 years, from the 13th to the 19th centuries. Its location on a promontory of the Mokattam hills near central Cairo offers a strategic position overlooking the city and dominating its skyline.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The tour proceeds to the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, designed by architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish architect who traveled from Istanbul to construct this magnificent mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849), who governed Egypt for over 45 years. The tour continues to Islamic Cairo.

Khan Al-Khalili - Guests will have the opportunity to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic bazaar. Finally, they will be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight back to Hurghada. Upon arrival at Hurghada Airport, they will be transported back to their hotel or resort in Marsa Alam.
