VIP Tour of The Great Pyramid - I booked my VIP tour of the great pyramid about 6 months in advanced with Shahd. Shahd was incredibly kind and easy to book with- she made sure to stay in touch with me over the 6 month period and helped me with any questions I had in the process. My guide Mr. Nasser was extremely knowledgeable as well as kind enough to let me have my own space throughout the visit. Esmail was a great tour leader and made sure I was picked up and transported to the pyramid on time.

Egyptian Great Pyramid tour - a worthwhile whistle stop tour! - We were picked up at our hotel on time, we were then introduced to our lovely tour guide Nancy and our driver Mr Muhammad. Nancy stopped and got us bottles of water on the way to the pyramids. When we arrived at the pyramids site, Nancy came in with us and sorted our entry fee. She then took us around the museum to give us an overview of the pyramids before getting the bus to the first site.
Nancy was knowledgeable, funny and spoke perfect english. We followed the hop on hop off bus tour. She allowed us time at each of the sites, on our own to have a look around and take pictures.
Nancy offered to help us set up any additional excursions at each stop such as camel rides. We went for a trip to the first bazaar, my advice would be to get the money you are looking to part with in your hand and see how much you can get for it. The variation in prices for items is easily 1000% throughout the various shops.
We visited the outside of each of the pyramids and went inside the great pyramid (Khufu). Guides are not allowed to come in and continue the tour inside. The King’s chamber is incredible and definitely worth the 10 minutes of crouching and squeezing up the stairs. Would not recommend this for anyone infirm, ladders and crouch walking on a steep incline in 40 degree heat required.
Following this we headed down to the Sphinx which was an incredible sight to see in real life. Nancy took us into the viewing point giving us more information about it on our way in. We then got time to explore ourselves and take pictures, before Nancy called Mr Muhammad to pick us up.
We then went to visit an art shop which used papyrus and got a demonstration on how ancient Egyptians would have used this, which was very cool to see. We then got time to look at the art to see if there was anything we wanted to buy - we didn’t buy anything. We then went to a jewellery shop downstairs, again we got time to look around but we did not buy anything. We were then offered to go to an oils and perfume shop and a carpet shop but we refused as we were ready to go back to the hotel. Nancy was fine with this and Mr Muhammad took us back to our hotel. There was an option to go to the Grand Museum too, however we had been the day before.
When we got back to our hotel we thanked Nancy and Mr Muhammad for a fantastic experience and tipped them.

A VIP experience of Giza, Saqqara and Abusir - A tour of 3 experienced Egypt travellers wanting to see esoteric sites not normally visited. We required VIP service and assistance gaining permits and permissions. Our guides Aref and Mahmoud were exceptional. Our travel consultant Shahd Ehab was wonderful. A professional who guided and assisted us at all stages of the process.

Amazing Experience - So booked the guide + travel + entrance fees. It was worth every penny, made the experience so much better.
Our guide Aref was knowledgeable and entertaining, took some great photos for us.
Having a professional guide really does improve the experience.
The driver always had water when we needed it, we enjoyed the trip so much we ended up paying more to extend the day by going to the new Grand Egyptian Museum which was excellent! Aref recommended a great place for lunch afterwards.
Couldn’t of had a better experience

Exciting visit inside the pyramids - We tried the experience of entering one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and we still have goose bumps. Thanks to our guide Aiman we discovered so many things we did not know and he advised us so much when we had to go to the pyramid. Overall it was a great choice to choose this very reliable company

Super experience, but very expensive compared to local price levels. - This was a very well organized, a good VIP view, very informative and a very good way to see all the highlights of the Cheops pyramids and the Sphinx. My only point is the 180 USD pricing, which is way too high compared to the local price levels. I think they still can make a very high profit if they would ask 90USD. I think they are paying Tripadvisor the most to be the first choice, so the profit might even go to tripadvisor itself.

Pyramids - Wow! Must do! - What a wonderful day! Aref did an excellent job - so friendly, helpful & knowledgable. It would have been so much more difficult to navigate where to go and how on your own. The pyramids are totally amazing. Felt very emotional, especially inside The Great Pyramid! Beware tho, a bit of a hot, steep, narrow climb which we weren’t aware of - but well worth it!!
Thank you also to Lily who did an amazing job organising our trip (and more!). It has all made our Cairo trip just wonderful - great memories!

Good tour, but extremely overpriced - Once I bought this tour, I’ve got approach by the tour operator to get some more details about hotel and pick up. The operator is very kind and organized more tours and the collection from the airport as well, as I was having issues with my hotel to do the transfer. Lily was an angel to organized everything we wanted to see, the total of the tour and site seeing was quite expensive, however I thought the high prices were based on the size of group(2ppl). The first day we got picked up from our hotel by Our guide Mohammed, who was kind and knowledgeable, but on our second day our guide got changed. Nasser was also knowledgeable and allowed me to see other things that were not included in the original plan. However, many times I’d to push the guides to see more things as they wanted to cut the tour route and on this way I would’ve missed precious views like the sphinx for example.
The car service is good and safe, you get collected and dropped off from all the different sites; you get to see some special views as well. However, once you see the tickets prices and uber costs you realize you’ve been charged 4 or more times the prices of the tickets, for example €250 for the Grand museum, when the tickets are less than £50 on their website and of any guide or airport collection prices $54 vs less than £15 on Uber. Also always get the actual bill of the lunch at the restaurant instead of waiting for the tour to charge you as “their” price is always triple .
So, try and get to the hotel first (Uber is a really good deal) . Organized yourself the tickets, many places have ticket machines or you can buy it online, guides and tours are mainly to upsell and try to milked and rip off the tourist.

Visit necessary but mixed opinion on the proposed activity. - Visiting only part of the Giza Plateau with entrance into the pyramid of Cheops a little at a time; it is better not to take a combined activity, especially like that of Saqqarah on the same day, so that you can have enough time to enjoy this visit of the pyramids. Very high temperature inside and lack of ventilation. The guide stays outside. His information and explanations are quite limited. For information, the price for the complete tour including the one inside the pyramid of Cheops is 1000 Egyptian pounds or about 18 €.
